This new floor is different from the first floor. This one is completely empty. There's nothing there. The room isn't even square it's round. The floor is not concrete though it's made out of porcelain tiles, the ceiling is completely bare she can't even tell where the light is coming from. Eliza narrows her eyes, there's a thin ring around the room hugging the wall.

Eliza grabs her hook and throws it into the middle of the room it falls on one tile which activates spikes in a cross form. The second tile the hook bounces off on actives some spikes from the ceiling which fall on the entire floor except on the thin ring. There are no gaps that Eliza can see. The third tile the hook hits cuts the hook into ribbons. Eliza sighs but can't get close enough to see what cut it.

"This is going to be hard" she frowns. The stairs for the third floor lie on the other side of the room taunting her. Eliza looks at the ring around the room that hasn't been touched by any of the activated weapons

"It can't be this easy" she mumbles and starts walking; just like she said, it's not easy. She's taken maybe ten steps when the walls start to close on her forcing her to step onto the tiles. All hell breaks lose. There's explosions, flying darts, spikes, bullets, and razor wires before the wall shrink back and Eliza is able to go to her safe haven again.

"Jesus" she gasps as she winces from all her newly squired injuries.  She looks back at the floor. Some tiles didn't cause any type of reaction. She searches through her backpack and pulls out a lipstick. She marks the tile closest to her that didn't activate and steps on it. Nothing happens. She marks two other tiles and steps back to her haven.

Eliza stares at the marked tiles trying to figure out a pattern, but from only three tiles; it's basically impossible. The walls start to move again and she jumps onto a marked tile which activates a flamethrower. Eliza dodges out of the way but it catches her arm. She rolls over tiles as fast as she can to avoid the dangers until she lands on a safe tile.

"This makes no sense" she whispers the tile she was on should be activated but it's not. 'They change' she realices. Every time the walls move so do the safe spots on the floor.

Eliza manages to reach the haven again and this time she counts time. Five minutes pass and the walls close in once more. Eliza hops onto a guessed safe tile but it activates something. She lands on one she thought would be active but it  doesn't do anything. A minute later the walls recede into their original position. Thirty seconds later her tile activates.

Back onto her haven Eliza frowns. The walls move every five minutes and stay put for an entire minute. The tile then lasts thirty seconds more before activating. Eliza supposes the tiles turn inactive as soon as the inactive turn active. It makes her head spin, but basically she has five minutes maybe four and a half to figure out a pattern to the inactive tiles before she's forced back onto them.

It takes Eliza half and hour to figure out the pattern and only thirty seconds to make it to the stairs, this time they don't disintegrate under her feet.

Eliza is beaten and bloody. Her coat could only do so much. Her wrist hurts like hell but she didn't really need it so she's saved her morphine. And it's a good thing too. On the last step she injects a generous amount into her arm and takes a deep breath before continuing.

As soon as she lands in the third floors floor a metal gate rises up behind her. About fifty people appear before her all armed with various weapons and then, the lights go out.
