Perfect

When the three days have passed Akito is conscious again. Eliza avoids going to meet him, scared that he'll be mad at her. So instead she does everything else, she has appointments and works out problems inside and outside the family. She has diner dates with the police and lawyers keeping everything polite and transparent in their agreements. Eliza runs the family perfectly.

Akito's sisters haven't seen Eliza in days, they stay by their brothers side and talk. Akito is itching to be out of medical bay but Doc hasn't given him the green light. Akito doesn't really know what to feel about Irene and Eliza but he want to see her, make sure she's okay. Dina, Yuki and Sasha bury Irene in their family crypt. Akito doesn't know if he'll visit.

Doc has been checking Eliza and the babies and everything seems fine, even with all the stress and ruckus of the last few days they're still in perfect health. which makes both Akito and Eliza breathe a lot easier, those babies are the only hope they have in their lives right now and they hold on with all their strength. The due date is in six weeks which panics Eliza a little but also makes her very excited

Emma hasn't heard from Eliza in days but her sister won't answer the phone or her texts, nobody in the family can get a hold of her and they start to worry. So Eliza writes to them one day, assuring them of her, and the babies, perfect health and that all is fine but she has been busy and will be busy for the foreseeable future and that they shouldn't worry is she is absent for a while. This of course only makes Emma and the others worry more but at least she's answered them. Besides there's not much they can do to help even if they wanted to, so they leave her be. The baby shower they had planned is getting near and they don't know anymore if they'll actually go through with it or not.

Eliza is walking down one of the house corridors when she hears Akito's voice coming from ahead, she panics and looks around her for a place to hid but she's so startled she just turns around and walks back the way she came from as fast as she can, but Akito's heard her footsteps and is quickening his pace as well.

"Eliza?" he asks but she doesn't answer which just confirms his suspicions

"Eliza stop running!" he yells and starts jogging, thankfully for him Eliza is almost seven months pregnant with twins so she can't really run, although Akito was just released from the hospital so he's not at full power either.

"Stop!" Akito says managing to catch up to her, he grabs her wrist forcing her to stop. She stands before him her head bowed slightly, her pink hair cascading over her shoulders, hiding her face from him

"Eliza" he breathes, she tenses, her hand forming a fist "turn around love, please"

"No" Eliza says quietly but firmly, Akito takes a very deep breath and steps closer to her, he runs his hands down her shoulder releasing the tension from them. Her hand falls limp at her side no longer in a fist. Eliza takes a deep breath but still can't bring herself to turn around and face Akito. Everything had been perfect, had been fine those last couple of days. She had managed to avoid him and all thought of him perfectly. Now here he was touching her with such love as if she hadn't just killed his sister and branded her a traitor before everyone's eyes

"I'm sorry" Akito says softly, shocking her so much she turns around, her eyes bright with tears

"What?" she whispers not believing her ears, eh couldn't have said that, not to her

"I'm sorry" he repeats and cups her cheek with the most delicate touch Eliza had ever felt in her life "I laid so much responsibility on you and swore to protect this Family, and this one," he touches her stomach "with all of my power and strength, yet when the time came to protect it I was weak and tried to safe a traitor. That mistake almost cost me my life and my family. I'm sorry for being so selfish that you had to face such a horrible situation by yourself. I'm sorry you had to carry the weight of everything by yourself" Akito wobbly gets down on his knees and places his hands before them and bows his head, the sign of utmost respect and sorrow he could physically express.

tears start flowing from Eliza's eyes and falling down her chin to the floor before Akito. she covers her mouth with her hands to keep from making ugly crying sobbing noises and leans down before Akito, which is hard since her stomach has grown so much. She places a hand on his head and he looks up

"I avoided you all this time," Eliza cries "not because I hated you or thought less of you, but because I thought that you would be mad at me. I accused your sister of treason and executed the punishment," she looks down at her hands, she sees them red with blood that no matter how much she scrubs and washes can ever be cleaned "her blood is on my hands" she hiccups "I didn't know how to face you, how stand before you and ask for forgiveness that I don't deserve, I..." Akito, who has started crying as well, holds a finger to her lips and with eyes filled with love and sadness hugs her.

They cry into each others shoulders fro what seems like an eternity but is in reality only a couple of minutes. When they pull apart Eliza wipes her eyes with the back of her hand and Akito hands her a handkerchief that makes her smile

"Such a gentleman" she says, her voice still heavy with tears

"I love you Eliza" he whispers, his voice heavy with tears as well. Eliza cries more with those words and leans into his chest, they fall backwards almost completely on the floor. He hugs her close to his chest and kisses her hair, and gets it wet with fresh tears

"Always?" Eliza asks muffled by his shirt

"Always and forever love" Akito cries. They sit up and Akito pulls her into a kiss which makes Eliza cry even more because that kiss to her means he has forgiven her for being such a monster, or despite being a monster.

They pull apart and Akito twacks her in the forehead

"What the hell?" Eliza half cries half exclaims she rubs her forehead "dude!" She grumbles

"I am mad though for you not telling me that the other heads were involved" Akito says playfully but with a serious undertone "why?" Eliza rubs her head and puts her hands in her lap

"We agreed only one persons per Family would know" Eliza says lowering her eyes a little "that way information was very unlikely to leak and ruin the big plan"

"But what about the plan that we did?" Akito asks

"Everyone made an internal plan without telling the other heads" Eliza continues "then when I got the photos from the Spider I acted and we conveyed to serve justice" she says it as simple as she can put still winces when he lifts his hand towards her

"Don't pull back" he whispers and caresses her cheek "I'd never hurt you"

"Considering how we met and what I've done" Eliza jokes but avoids his eyes Akito scoffs and rolls his eyes, she looks up to see him smiling

"That was one time can't a guy get a break?" He asks in a joking manner

"Never" Eliza says lightly

"Let's go" Akito says standing offer her his hand

"Where?" Eliza asks taking it

"Don't ask questions" he smiles and helps her stand, he rubs her stomach and smiles

"You truly are the most amazing man ever" Eliza kisses his cheek

"Oh I wouldn't say that" he says blushing "perfect, maybe" Eliza nudges his arm and links her arm with his

"I take it back" she laughs and they walk down the hall. Perfect.
