Meet The Family

Nick's POV

It was dark. Everything was dark. It was so dark that I can't see my hands. Suddenly I feel a tingling sensation across my body. I look back only to see a dark entity. It was barely visible but I can feel it's present nonetheless. Instead of being patient and face it. I ran as fast as I could. I checked my soul and was shocked... no, intimidated by what I saw. My soul color turned Pink. A sudden feeling came over me. I couldn't understand the feeling I felt. Was it... FEAR? No, there's no way.

               I panted as I ran for my life. The darkness wasn't helping. I felt insecure, not knowing where I am, where I'm going. It was not a pleasurable feeling.

               I stop as I feel my leg giving up. I was about to continue running but my body collapsed, making me fall into the dark surface. I closed my eyes as I was preparing myself for the pain but I didn't felt the pain from the fall. I opened my eyes, only to see that I was suddenlly falling into the abyss.

               I woke up from the weird dream only to see that I fell from my bed. I felt my head hurting. I ponder in my thoughts as I tried to recall what was that dream about.

               I quickly check myself HP : 20/20 L.V. 1. I sighed in relief. My soul was still a light coloured blue. Somebody then knocked on my door. Making me scream in shocked. "Nick! Wake up you sleepyhead! It's already 10A.M.!"

               That was my twin sister Nina, she, too, has a Patience soul like me. Although I'm a few minutes older than her, she's the one who acts mature and takes care of everything. Plus, she's also the kingdom's representative wizard, having the ability to slow down time. Which, most people don't have and those who do have it doesn't know how to control it.

               I went to the dining which has a huge table in the middle and 10 chairs around it. I sat on one of them and waited for the others to be waken up by Nina.

               My parents being the rulers of the Ice Kingdom has a lot of work to do. So, they are rarely at home but my mom usually cooks breakfast for us. Nina always wakes up first so she would help mom make breakfast.

               Ahh. I heard somebody groaning like a zombie from my right. I turned my head only to see my younger brother, Lance. Unlike me and Nina, he's soul trait isn't known yet. To be honest I think he's soul trait is maybe anger 'cause I saw his room on fire one day and I had to put it out. Then, when I ask for an explanation he just shrugs. Maybe he just uses one of the magnifying glass and burn the book Nina gave to him..... he REALLY doesn't like Nina's book.

             "Hey bro," said Lance, "what are you doing?" "Breathing" I answered. He just raised one of his eyesbrows and said "Oookay? What's today's breakfast." "Dunno. Maybe food." He just make a 'I hate you' expression and grabs a sit.

               I smirked and continued thinking about the dream I had. 'What was it all about? Was it another vision? No, no way my soul trait would be gone' I thought. Lance just looks at me with a 'what's up with you?' expresion.

               I snap out of my thoughts as I heard a 'war cry' from the 2nd or 3rd floor. Then, I saw my youngest brother, Jake. Probably the most annoying and childish one amongst my sibling. He came down the stair running while screaming "Help me!" He was being chased by he's friend, Tisha.

Time Skip after breakfast

               I finish breakfast and decided to go out for a walk to a river near the palace where I live, that river is certainly... interesting. Although its in the Ice Kingdom's territory it didn't froze. There are a lot of this river over here, so we used it as our water source instead of asking it from other kingdom. While I was walking down the street to the river, a person wearing a jacket and a hoodie called me..... I went to see what the guy want then.....
