An Old Friend

Last time on 'The tale of NickTCD'

I finish breakfast and decided to go out for a walk to a river near the palace where I live. While I was walking down the street to the river, a person wearing a jacket and a hoodie called me..... I went to see what the guy want then......

Nick's P.O.V

            I decided to go towards the guy 'cause I don't want to be rude. Plus, there is rarely any kidnapping in the Ice Kingdom.

            When I came near him, I noticed that he had two horns on his head, his hoodie didn't cover his head fully revealing his yellow hair. He was also wearing six iron plates. Two on his shoulders, two on his elbows and two more on his knees.

            After seeing his attire, I realized that it was my old, long pal, Billy. My best friend who's supposed to be my enemy. He is, scratched that, WAS an Ice Hunter. Ice Hunter search and kill any Ice creature that's been assigned to them. Basically, they're bounty hunters but mainly on Ice creature.

            Billy, or his real name, Onie, was assigned to kidnap me. Being the prince of a kingdom means there's alot of people that wants my head. During then, I was probably a teenager. Not knowing the danger of the outside world.

            Onie succeeded on kidnapping me, I, being the dumbass and oblivious teenager I was, started a conversation with Onie, the one who kidnapped me. Yeah, really smart, right?

            For some unknown reason Onie just talked back. So, we talked and talked until Onie felt guilty and let me go. After that, we always meet in a secret place in the forest near the palace. We became good pal, he teach me self - defense. I teach on how to use his soul's power which is Justice and Hope.

            It was saddening tho, because when Onie let me go, the client told the leader of the Ice Hunter and Onie was banned and wanted for betraying them. All of his family members forgot about him, well almost all anyways but that's a story for another day.

            When I recognized him, I hugged him tightly."Nick... I... Can't breath." Said Onie in between his breath. "Heheh, sorry. It's just... I miss you, where have you've been?" "Hiding of course, they're still on my tail, ok?" Onie answered

            I was shocked when I heard that. 'They're still on him, wow, they must really want him dead' I thought. "So, how's your family?" Onie brings up a question. "They're alive." I answered with a smirk on my face. "That's the psychotic and annoying Nick that I know." Onie said.

            We had a long conversation while walking around town. 'Wait, wasn't I was going to go the lake?' I asked myself. 'Meh, I can go there tomorrow.'

            We talked so long that it was already getting dark, I decided to go back home. "Wait, you're not using your power?" Onie asked weirded out of my sudden change.

            When I was with Onie, I would always use my power to teleport from place to place. I guess he finds it weird that I didn't use my powers. "Hmm? Oh, I'm not as lazy as I was during the old days." I answered "Who are you? And what have you done with my Nick?" Onie replied. "Very funny" I said while smiling.

            I then walked back to the palace where my guard, Matt, greets me. "Hello, your highness." "I'm not your highness yet, Matt." I answered. "That maybe true but I'm gonna say it anyways so you'll get used to it." "Whatever you say." I went to my dining table only to see a plate with some food and a note. The note said :

Dear Nick,
Lance, Jake and I have some business to attend to. We left some food for you and can you please cleanup you room. Although I'm pretty sure you won't do anything about that. It's worth a try right?

            I ate dinner and took shower and changed to my PJ's and went to sleep. 'Why did Nina wrote Love, LOVE? Ugh, nevermind, she probably wrote that just to show that she really loves me.' I closed my eyes. Then I was in another dream. It was.....

A.K.'s note

Yeah, yeah, another cliffhanger. Anyways, hope you guys enjoyed it. It's a little bit shorter then the last one but whateves, it's 2:39 a.m. over here and I want to sleep. Again guys, this is my first book. Anyways, bye and stay alive my fellow human.
