The Truth

Nick's P.O.V

            "So, are we going to be sitting here in quiet or are we gonna discuss on what had just happened? I mean, we all know that it was Copper that RESET or LOAD it here." I said, now getting to tense from the silence.

            "What do we want to talk about? We already know who did it.  It's not like we can call her to come here." Jack said, disagreeing with me.

            "Actually, the Lightvales are going to come over to meet us, I... forgot to tell you guys 'yesterday'." Nina stated but I could tell that she was lying that she 'forgot' to tell us.

            "I'm pretty sure this is a LOAD 'cause RESET goes to the first time that person has their DETERMINATION soul awaken." Lance said, I look at him and I remembered what Onie, Lance and myself discussed. I turn my gaze towards Nina. I look at her with my soul filled with disappointment. Nina looks at me and said "W-what?"

            "Just tell us already!" Lance said slamming his hand on the table in the middle. It crack, a little. "Even after what Nick did! You still want to lie to us! Nick might be patient but ME? Hahahah! I'm not, so, don't lie to us because if you lie, heh, you're not going to like what I'm going to do." Lance said.

            "What d-do you-" Nina couldnt even finish her sentence Lance lunged at her putting his sword on her throat. He's body emitting a powerful heat. Jack was about to help Nina but I teleported infront of him blocking his way while signing 'Let Lance deal with her'. I could see thar Nina was sweating most probably due to the heat Lance emitting since Lance is litterally ontop of her. I STOP everything except for the four of us so that nobody hears what's going to happened.

            "You see, I'm not like YOU!" Lance said still ontop of Nina. "I don't lie. Just. Tell. The. Truth! Is that so hard! There's a war coming and you didn't even told or even warned us! YOU are not like Nick, although he lies, he tells us the truth too! Especially if it seems important from his point of view! But YOU!? YOU NEVER tell us the truth! Don't you feel guilty? Jack there! The youngest and most innocent one amongst us, the one who looks to you as an idol! Don't you feel bad for him? He is just a teenager! We are young adults! Why? Why lie? What? Do you think a war is NOT something important? A war! Between Mankind and Monster! Two races that ruled the Earth! You think that you're lying us are for protecting us but in actuallitie, you were protecting yourself!" Lance press his sword slightly harder than before. Tears started to roll down her cheeks. She looked everywhere for a way to escape and eventually looked at me but I didn't help her. I turn my glance to see Jack's eyes filled with tears. Jack must be in so much pain right now, knowing that his idol has been a wolf in sheeps clothing all this time. Lance was right, although Jack is the most annoying and childish one amongst my sibling. He is the most innocent and the hardest one to lose HOPE and LOVE.

            "Yes! I did lied about forgetting to tell you guys that Agate and Copeer are coming here. Yes! I did lied that I don't have anything to say. Yes! I know that I lie to you guys was because I was protecting myself! When you're train as a wizard, you'll need to give it your best and when you show your true potential... peoples die." Nina said trying to explain why she has been lying. I checked her stats and it was 'HP : 35/35 L.V. 6 Atk. 40 Def. 40' 'She's killed people until her L.V. was 6!?' I thought to myself. "My soul was filled with guilt, all the people that I killed, they still hunt me. In my dream, even right now, I could see them, in my head." Nina's tears started to flow faster than before. It was saddening actually, to see Nina this way. She never broke this much tears before. It made feel guilty, a little.

            Jack uses his powers and pulled Lance away from Nina. Lance fall to the ground, he turned back to his normal form and was breathing very heavily. I realized what had just happened and went to Lance to heal him. "S-sis? Are you okay? Does it hurt?" Jack asked concerned of Nina more than Lance. "Y-yeah, I-I'm fine. Go check on, Lance." Nina told Jack. I let Jack heal Lance since his healing power is better than mine. I walk towards Nina, there was a scar on her throat, blood was dripping a little from the scar. Lance push his sword a little too hard. Nina got up and sat at the couch again.

            I went next to her and sat besides her, I hesitantly put my arm over her shoulder. She lay her head on my shoulder and said "I'm sorry... I know how much you must hate me right now." "Don't worry." I said calmly, she just turn her head and look at me, her light blue eyes stared deep into my soul. I stared back into her, I know she meant well and deep inside her was the nice Nina I knew. "Everybody keeps secrets from eachother, I should know this better than anyone." I continued. Lance than was healed and apologized Nina for what he did. My STOP power finally 'stop' and everything moved like normal. We just talk about somethings here and there until somebody knock on the door. I insisted on opening the door to see....
