* (awake)
My eyes flick open, my Uncle stands over me. Gently, he takes the electrodes off my head and the clip off my finger. Then, he smiles when he sees me awake, resting his hand on my cheek.
"Hello, Harriet." He whispers.
"What-what you d-doing?" I stutter.
"I'm taking you home."
Uncle slips one arm under my neck, and the other under my knees. He lifts me from the bed, I try to raise my hands but all my muscles ache.
"I cant...move." I mumble.
"It's okay. I have got you." Thor points out.
He carries me out of the room, to where the Avengers are all stood with rucksacks and suitcases. Steve smiles when he sees me awake, his eyes twinkling with happiness.
"Thor, is it best if Hattie is asleep when we go?" Clint asks.
"I have to see...Loki."
"Harriet, he's already in Asgard."
"His wrist...wrist." I mutter.
"Wrist? You can see him when we go to Asgard, is that alright?"
I nod, my cheek against his chest. My eyes begin to flicker closed again.
"It hurst." I admit.
"I'm going to make it go away, I promise. Asgardians will help you, Hattie. I'll make sure of it." Uncle whispers into my ear.

I follow Uncle down the golden corridors, looking at the engraved walls. Uncle carries me down until he stops outside double wooden doors. Steve races ahead and pushes one open.
Inside the room is a single bed with a light golden duvet. There's doctors stood around the bed, all dressed in red robes and holding files. As Uncle steps in, my hand falls from my lap and drags on the floor.
Uncle places me on the bed and the doctors start to take blood from my body. I can feel the prick in my skin, the warm feeling as they pull it out. They push the Avengers out of the way and attach new electrodes to my skin. They pull down a screen from the ceiling and the blue light travels over my unconscious body. An image of my insides then hovers over me.
Standing in the doorway, I watch the Avengers stand nervously against the wall. The digital image shows blue sparks travelling through my veins. Stepping forward, I examine it more closely. Blue sparks. Like electricity.
"What is that?" Steve asks.
"Harriet is in a condition that we call 'midgrade' it means she can't control herself and her body shuts down to protect herself. But, there are theories that when people are in midgrade, they experience old memories, some good and some bad." One of the doctors explains.
She stretches her hands over the image and zooms in. It shows my blood molecules, most are red but some are bright blue and spiky spheres.
"She talks when she's unconscious." Clint points out.
"Now, that is the unusual aspect. When someone is unconscious, their brain shuts down and that means Harriet should not be able to talk. So this suggests she is experiencing the memories that the theory says." The woman explains.
"Loki's wrist...wrist." Unconscious me mumbles.
"We have to get Loki here." Natasha says.
Half an hour later, Thor strides in with his arm around Loki. He looks sad, his eyes deep and bloodshot. Around his wrists are black handcuffs, he bows his head as he enters the room. But looks up when he hears the beeping of the heart machine. Thor leads him to the side of the bed and holds his arm.
