Rolling over, I thought for a second I was back in my bed at SHIELD. But then I remember I teleported to this stupid cold place and am now held prisoner. Bribery to get my Uncle to give back all the Jutunheim relics.
Suddenly, I hear shouting and the sound of metal on metal. Sitting up, I lean my back on the wall.
"What is going on?" I whisper.
The door is burst open and I stand up instantly. A giant stands there, glaring at me with white eyes. He steps forward and drags me by my arm out of the cell room. He pulls me down corridors and around corners, until we reach a giant set of double black doors. Shoving it open, he pushes me through and I fall instantly to my knees.
Slowly raising my head, my father and uncle are stood at the end of the huge room. Sat in an iron throne behind them is Laufey, leaning one elbow on the arms. Loki goes to walk towards me, but Thor holds him back with his hammer. Uncle's eyes are wide with shock and my father can't even look at me.
"What did you do to her?" Uncle Thor bellows.
"It's her true form, Thor. She's a frost giant like me, but she does not have the height gene." Loki explains briefly.
"Turn her back! This instant!" Thor demands.
I stay on my knees, bowing my head. My Uncle doesn't like to see who am I, probably because it reminds him that Loki isn't his real brother and therefore I am not his real niece.
"Do you agree to the terms, Thor Odinson?" Laufey questions.
"Will you up hold your side?" Thor quizzes.
"Just give back my daughter!" Loki screams.
He lunges forward and suddenly I'm thrown back, hitting the floor. Colours blur before my eyes and I groan through my teeth. Opening my eyes, father is lying on top of me with a confused look on his face. He stands up and offers me his hand, pulling me onto my feet. Glancing around, I realise I'm in the golden gate room.
All around are golden archways that lead to various realms and alien worlds. Stood in the middle, clutching a gold sword and wearing gold armour is the red eyed Heimdell.
"Where's Thor?" Loki asks.
"You left him?! Damn it, Loki! I'm going back."
I take a few steps forward, but father slides in front of me and pushes me back.
"I will go. You stay and figure out how to turn yourself back to human form." He orders.
Loki walks forward and I slowly step back. I watch him be pulled through the gate. Wandering backwards, I sit on the gold steps below Heimdell.
"Blue suits you, Lady Harriet." Heimdell comments.
I'm glad I have my back to him so he can't see my blushing cheeks. I've never been called Lady Harriet before. But then I think of Uncle's look in his eyes when he saw my blue skin, they were full of disgust.
"My Uncle doesn't seem to think that." I mutter.
After a few long minutes, Loki stumbles through the gate with Thor leaning against him. He has his arm around Loki's neck and my father is holding Thor's whole body up. On the floor I can see traces of blood.
"What happened?" I question.
Racing to his side, I slip his other arm around my neck. Thor groans loudly and his head falls forward limply.
"He was attacked. Get him to the healing room." Loki announces.
I help Father carry Uncle Thor out of the gate room and down the rainbow bridge. The huge doors are pushed open and golden guards rush out. They push me out of the way and help Loki carry Thor into the castle.
