Opening my eyes, I'm lying on my back on freezing black concrete. Groaning, I sit up and feel the chill run to my skin, causing goosebumps. My body starts to shiver and I wrap my arms around my knees in an attempt to raise my body temperature, but I fail.

Glancing around, I realise I'm sat in a dark room with nothing in it.

This isn't SHIELD or a hospital. I must be dreaming. But, I can feel the pain spark every time I breath. Pain can't be felt in dreams.

Did I teleport? To where?

Standing up, I look closely at the dark walls. Around the edges of the brick, there's shards of ice forming and spreading into sparks. Brushing my hands against it, I can feel the cold for a single second and then it's gone. The goosebumps disappear on my skin and I'm used to the cold, I can't feel it anymore.

What is going on?

Stepping forward, I notice a change in the walls, a dark area that makes a rectangle in the wall. Pushing it, the wall moves and opens, like a door. Wandering through, I look left then right to see dark corridors, with the same ice around the edge. I turn left, instinct taking over.

I stop abruptly when I see a creature stood at the end, his skin white as paper and so tall that his head brushes the ceiling. He turns his head to face me, his eyes are black circles and he is nothing like a human, more like an alien. The creature pushes his hand out, and ice creeps down his arm quickly, to form an ice knife out of his hand.

Panic rushes through me, along with questions. Spinning on my toes, I sprint down the concrete corridors, ducking when he shoots ice by my head. In front, there's a set of doors open and I race through them. I'm forced to stop, when stood outside are thousands of ice creatures, all with axes and knives as hands. They start to whisper, glaring at me with night black eyes that desire pain and death.

"Hello, human child." One says.

He steps forward, towering over me. He has circles engraved on his forehead and all over his arms.

"Where am I?"

"You are daughter of Loki, are you not?" He questions, his voice demanding and echoing around me.

"Depends who is asking." I reply, clenching my fists.

"I am Laufey, your grandfather."

My head snaps up to him again, a smirk on his iced face. He reaches forward, taking my hand in his giant ice. My skin turns blue at his touch, running down my fingers and up my arm. I pull away instantly, raising my hand to watch the blue disappear.

"This is your true form. You are not meant to be human, Harriet." He states.

I shake my head.

"I will never be anything but human." I hiss.

"You have powers of your fathers, you are certainly not a mortal."

"Fine. I will never be one of you then!" I shout.

He takes a step forward and wraps one huge hand around my waist, raising me off the floor. I kick and scream against him, but nothing works to make him put me down.

He carries me down corridors and around corners, until we reach a room that is just a brick cube inside a huge room, with one window. He pushes open the door and places me inside, closing the door behind. I stand up instantly, striding over to the window and banging my fist against it.

"Let me go! What do you want?" I shout.

The leader bends down, kneeling so he is the same height as the window. He presses his face on the window.
