Chapter 17: Substitute

Aria's POV

I woke up with a headache. Maybe because I had given away all my oxygen to Yoongi. I sat up from the bed and I felt colder than usual. It was snowing. The trees were bare and snow covered the lawn.

"Aria." Nathan knocked on my bedroom door.

"Come in."

"Morning bed head. Yoongi is at the door for you." He told me. I wondered if he was getting suspicious.

"I'll be right down." I said while letting out a yawn and stretched my arms out.

I dragged myself off the bed with my blanket still wrapped around me. I went downstairs to see Yoongi with a black mask on covering his mouth and a jacket that zipped all the way up to his neck. Smart move to hide all the marks that I had left. A cute grey bennie covered his head.

"Aria there's breakfast for you in the kitchen. I'll see you in school." Nathan said as he grabbed his bag and walked out the door.

I guess Yoongi was taking me too school.

"Good morning Sunshine!" He messed up my hair even more than it already was.

"Morning. Why did you come over?"

"So I can't just come over to see my princess?" He winked at me.

"What's really up Yoongi."

He pointed to my hands. Wait my hands? I was lost.

"Why don't you go have a shower and then you'll remember why I came."

"Umm okay then." I went back upstairs to shower and change.

Ah. He was right. The bandages. I showered quickly and put on a thick black sweater and a comfy pair of loose jeans. I brushed my hair undoing all the knots from both yesterday and my sleep. I grabbed my winter jacket and went back to Yoongi downstairs.

"I remembered." I gazed at his eyes which were really the only thing showing.

"Ah. Come here." He pulled me in for a hug and placed a heated soft kiss on my forehead.

We sat on the couch and he wrapped up my wrist once again. We were ready to get going.

"Did you have breakfast?"

Aw. He's so caring.

"Um. No."

"To the kitchen now!" He dragged me there before spoon feeding me my cereal.

"I'm full." I pouted like a toddler.

"Come on you need to finish. Then we'll go."

"Mm.."I pressed my lips together.

"Aria you leave me no choice." He grabbed my face an gave me a passionate kiss before pushing the spoon in right after while my mouth was open.

"Hey! That's not fair!"

"All done! Let's go." He laughed at me.

He was like a playful fluff ball in the morning. Maybe in was the winter? He held up my jacket for me as I slid my arms in one by one. I stepped out the door.

"Yoongi how did you get here? The road is covered with snow."

"You do know that humans were born with feet right."

I rolled my eyes," I guess we're walking to school then."

Walking in the snow was fun. Cold but fun. Yoongi tried to catch every snowflake on his tongue as they fell. He looked so adorable with his hair falling in his face. I couldn't help but mess it up.
