Hey guys? I need to get this random thought off my chest, it's been plaguing me for awhile.
As you know, that science says humans are a type of animal and ever since Charles Darwin discovered that, we have been classified as such.
So first off, logically, since we are animals too, why do we act like we are superior to say, cats or dolphins? Second off, since we are animals, why are our rights and the rights of animals that aren't as advanced separate? Why don't animals have individual rights like "canine rights" or "rodentia rights"? So, here's my thought. What if animal rights became the basic rights for all animals and we had subcategories for each group of animals, and subcategories for each individual species? Don't worry, human rights won't change or disappear, they would just become a subcategory of hominidae rights, which is a subcategory in itself.
I know, it's totally random and crazy and sort of near impossible, and this might cause some controversy, but maybe this would help change the world for the better because we'd live in a world where all animals are treated as equals.
So... am I crazy?
