It's my best friend's birthday today and we made a cake, we tried to make Deadpool, and for using just spoons, we did pretty good. (We don't have any cake decorating tools). He gave me permission to reveal his b-day, but not his face, so he's hiding in his hoodie to protect his identity. The cake tasted amazing and we had a good time yesterday and today. (He slept over.) I got him lootcrate for a month, plush toys, but I have one more surprise for him. ;) He saw what I typed and is now scared, but there is no need to be. It's not something I can give to him in person, but it's something he can cherish forever and ever, and I will not be posting the link to it on here because it is for his eyes alone. Don't worry, he hasn't seen this part yet: it's a tribute video, a tribute to my best friend based off one of my favorite books, The Kite Runner.
Lukas, I'm sorry you're having a tough time right now. I wish you a happy birthday and many, many more. I hope one day we have something like (or dare I say, better than) the positive aspects of Hassan and Amir's friendship.
Enjoy your present when I'm finished with it, I'll send it to you when it's done.
