Why do humans lie? Can't we become loyal like dogs? A classmate of mine from a Physical Education class told me she preferred animals over humans. For me, I could smile with animals (dogs in particular) more than with humans. Such cute creatures. A human is as capable to tell a lie as he is in telling the truth. Isn't lie the root of all evil? How much of a person's words is the truth? How much is fabricated? How much is totally a lie? Why do people get hurt when betrayed? The answer is because of expectation. Naturally, humans are curious creatures. Wanting to know. It makes sense to want to know what things really are. But things are pretty relative. We are always in different reference frames.
Does the past even exist? The only thing that isn't relative is the reality of events. So, the question is, does our past, the reality of it, the same with others? These all depend on our memories. But memories, they can be fabricated. The perception can be fooled. The perception can be biased. So, what could be the truth? Without all these, you could just say, what happened is the truth. But what happened in your perspective, in your brain, could've been different from the other person. Our thoughts are infinite spaces. They are cooped inside our brains but could be even wider than the universe. Like the tents in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire during the Quidditch World Cup. They appear so small outside, but wide and spacious inside. Things that do not move, those you can check if they match your memory. But what about time and space, the changes, the "past". Those couldn't be checked. All you'd have are the statements of other people. But who says all of them aren't lying? Who says you're not being fooled? "Your word can't prove you innocent." Our own words aren't reliable when it is for our defense. Same could be said with your friends and loved ones. Their words are also not reliable. Words attached with emotions are unreliable. Incredible. Lies are incredible. The human thought is beyond amazement.
"I think therefore I am," eh?
