"Keep these safe and don't lose them all because they're really expensive." The doctor told me as she handed me a small box with four hearing aids. "Okay doc." I respond as I held it right in my hands.

"Your PCTs will soon arrive at your home like about 6 pm so you have most of the time to tidy up your home for them." She told me. "These past three months...you were a train wreck. You first couldn't keep yourself calm, next you tried to kill yourself by biting your tongue and making it bleed because we had to strap you down, and finally you're bullet wound in your opened up but we stitched it back up." She told me as she write something down.

"These are your PCTs names that will take good care of you and watch over you. Not only that but they will teach you how to use sign language." She told me as she handed me the paper.

"Good luck out there Evan, you're free to go." She lastly told me as she stood there. "Thank you doctor." I thanked her and walk out of the hospital with the box of hearing aids in my hands.

I took the bus back home since my motorcycle is being fixed. Once I arrived at the apartment building and walked towards my door. I take out my keys and unlock the door, hearing it click. Right when I open the door and close it behind me, the lights turn on and there stood Mrs. Silvia, Sally and her family, and other neighbors.

"WELCOME BACK!!" They all hell out which made me jump and hold my chest tightly and nearly dropped the box. Sally ran up to me and hugged my leg tight. "We missed you!" She said happily as she jumped around.

"Oh Evan, we are so glad to see you back in one piece." Mrs. Silvia said as she came up to me and embraced me in a big, tight, hug. "Not only that but we are really sorry about what happened with your girlfriend. She was a lovely and beautiful young lady." She told me, starting to remember about her. I tried my best to forget since she now moved on and left me here alone again.

"She was really beautiful. She will be in my heart." I told her with a smile. My ears soon started to hear loud buzzing noise as everyone smiled tried to talk to me. The only thing I could see was their lips move but not hear what they were saying. Their voice would be cut off sometimes like.

"We....food....okay."

I raise my hand a bit to let them know to wait for a second and open the box, taking out my two new hearing aids and put them on after turning them on. "Oh dear, you can't hear that well, can you?" Sally's mom asked me, being able to hear her perfectly fine, not hearing her sound like a fucking radio that automatically turns the volume up and down.

"Sadly no...the gunshot right next to my ear slightly damaged my eardrums so I have to wear these until they get fixed by themselves or I go get surgery on them if they don't." I told them. Sally looked at them and smiled.

"Oh sweetie don't worry about it, i also have one and it's a red color. I wear it when it's necessary. Now it's time to eat and help you out with stuff." Mrs. Silvia told me as we all smile and went to the table to start eating.

Once we were all done and cleaned the kitchen, they all soon left after saying goodbye. I sat there on the couch and took my hearing aids off my ears, not feeling used to them.

"OPEN UP RETARD!!!"

I jump hearing that so I get up and head towards the door, slowly opening it. "Tyler! Don't talk like that! Oh hey!" A group of seven guys stood there with bags.

"Are you guys my PCTs?" I asked them a bit unsure. "Yes we are! Now step aside, it's freezing out here!" The guy with turquoise blue eyes and a slight mustache and beard blurred out as he pushed me aside, walking in.

"Tyler don't be rude!" A guys with glasses and faded silver hair said as he followed the Tyler guy. Another guy with a orange tank top and his left arm covered in tattoos stood there with a sweet smile while he stood with a guy with dark sunglasses, black leather jacket, and black skinny jeans.

"Don't mine him, he is always rude towards people. Hello, I'm Brock and this is Brian." "Hello!" Brian greeted me with a smile. I let them in and now see tall mother fucker with a green shirt while wearing his headphones, listening to music and ignoring me completely.

"Hello I'm Lui! This is David but he is a bit mad right now towards everyone because someone ate his potato chips." A small guy that seems to be 5'6 foot tall, he was wearing a bright red sweater with some black shorts and black running shoes.

They both walk in, leaving the last guy to greet himself with me. "Oh hello...." I cut off myself as I stare into those light blue eyes that look exactly like...hers. "Jonathan." He said catching me off guard. "What?" "Jonathan is my name." He told me again and then walked in with a dead serious face.

Isn't he the guy that was in the strip club before and ordered seven wheat whiskeys? I has to be him, there is no way in hell that it could be someone else. His eyes are so familiar yet so different, I've seen them before.

"Hey Canasian boy! Aren't you closing that door? You're letting the cold air in!" Tyler yelled out bringing me back to reality and realize that I was standing here with the doe wide open and staring into nothing it the wall across the hall.

"Oh sorry, I thought I heard something." I responded and closed the door slowly.
