I forced myself up from the cold, wooden floor after 10 minutes. Kai was going to be okay and if I continued to check up on him, he could go home and hopefully I wouldn't make such terrible decisions in my life anymore.

I headed into the kitchen and turned the lights on, bee-lining straight towards the fridge. Feeling the cool metal glide through my fingers, I opened the fridge and my eyes widened in shock. Inside, my fridge was completely filled with all of my favorite food. A small letter was inside and I gently grabbed it out and tore it open.

Cher, I hope the visit went well. Since I know you probably won't eat healthily, I just added some extra food to keep you alive. Enjoy.

Do Kyung Soo

I gaped at the assortment of food and closed the fridge, too shocked and alarmed to eat anything now. I ran towards my bed and peeled off my clothes, desperate to sleep and forget about all of my worries.

I grabbed an oversized sweatshirt and slipped it on before hopping on my bed and snuggling in with the cool sheets. My short boy-shorts kept my legs cool as the warmth of the sweatshirt flowed through my upper body.

I clapped my hands once and automatically, the lights dimmed. Letting out a breathy sigh, I allowed my eyes to droop down and my body settled into the comfortable bed. Granting my entire body and mind to shut down, I had a dreamless sleep, something I hadn't had in awhile.

The Next Day...

Stumbling out of bed after my alarm forced me awake, I rubbed my eyelids, trying to rub off the sleep in my saggy eyelids. I forced myself to stroll to the bathroom and the bright fluorescent lights caused my fragile eyes to cringe.

I pulled out all of my skincare items and washed my face, making sure to put each skincare product the right way. Once I was done, my cold feet shuffled against the equally cold wooden floors and into my bedroom. My feet snuggled into the carpet and I knelt down, retrieving my makeup for the day.

I applied the light foundation all over my skin, making sure to look fresh and not cakey. Deciding to skip on the concealer, I applied a nude pink all over my eyelid and smudged on a light brown eyeliner to look more alive. I swiped on some black mascara and grabbed my coral lipstick. Applying it to my cheeks and lips, I blended the lipstick in my cheek to create a blush.

Deciding to be casual, I pulled out some black leggings, a soft, pink cardigan, and a loose white t-shirt. Adding a level of professionalism, I got the soft shade of pink pointed heels, a chic black handbag, and an intricate, oval-shaped necklace that framed my neck beautifully.

Checking the time, I mentally cursed myself, finding that I was in a tight space of time. In 15 minutes, I would have to leave and I hadn't even had breakfast yet. Stumbling to the kitchen, I pulled out a pre-made sandwich Kyung Soo had put in and stuffed it into my bag.

Shoving my essentials into my bag, I grabbed my pointed heels in my right hand and I sat down on the floor, grabbing my keys and sunglasses from my key rack. Tossing my phone in, I quickly forced my feet inside the heels and looked at myself in the mini mirror I had set up next to the key rack. Semi-satisfied with my look, I rushed out, making sure the door was locked.
