Once my lunch with Kyung Soo was over, we had a cup of coffee before I started to pack up. I threw away my lunch that I packed and grabbed my cup, ready to work once more.

"Thank you, Kyung Soo. I had an amazing time and I hope we can do this more frequently! You're such a kind person on the inside. If you hadn't chased me I wouldn't have known the secret party side of you," I teased.

He chuckled and said, "Well, I'm glad you had a great time learning about the boss's secrets. Are you available tomorrow? Maybe this can be our secret ritual."

I pondered at the thought. I was pretty much booked for the morning all the way to dinner. Kyung Soo's eyes filled with hope and my heart shattered at the thought of breaking his little hopeful heart.

"About that... I'm completely booked. Before we even planned this, a lot of people wanted to eat lunch with me too so I told them I was free tomorrow? Sorry, I wish I could decline but I feel bad..." I muttered, fondling my hair nervously.

"I was the lucky one anyway. I understand. Maybe some other time."

I nodded and was about to head back to my office when Kyung Soo's arm slithered around my waist and hugged me from behind. His soft hair nuzzled my cheek and hair and his nose inhaled and exhaled against my collarbone.

"Kyung Soo?" I whispered, afraid of what we were doing right now.

"Y-you mean so much to me. I bet you don't know of this, but today was a really special day for me and I wanted to thank you for not leaving me alone. I know this was a hard decision but thank you." Kyung Soo whimpered out and tried to nuzzle in even further.

I swiftly nodded and fidgeted out of his tight hold and escaped into my office. I accidentally slammed my door shut and ran to the nearest couch, screaming into a pillow. I didn't know what just happened, but I enjoyed the feeling a bit too much.

He's your boss Cher. What the hell were you thinking?

I took four deep breaths before calmly walking back to my office and finished my assignments for the day. Only stopping for two coffee breaks, I managed to fight through the pile and when I reached the last one, I decided to procrastinate.

I scrolled through Instagram, liking random photos and studying hard on others. A sharp knock interrupted my YouTube time and I stood upright, trying to keep a professional composure.

"Hello?" I opened the door.

"Cher." Chanyeol smiled.

"Oh hi, do you want to come in?"

"I'm just checking up on you."

"Oh, don't do that. I was procrastinating like a teenager."

"Smart."

"Yes."

He walked in, slightly uncomfortable and settled on a couch. I pulled out some cookies and coffee and set it down in front of him. I hustled back to my office and brought my last packet and a pen with me.

"I'll work with you. Keep me entertained." I sent a curt nod, finishing the last assignment.

"I made a mistake today."

"Now that's a story."

"I completely appreciate your sympathy."

"Shut up and tell."

I heard Chanyeol let out an angry huff but began, "I made a mistake in front in front of a special person today, and I think I even offended that person. This person means a lot more to me now that we've got close but I always get embarrassed and I walk away, confusing myself and that person."
