"Time to get ready... Again." Chapter 10, My Korean Boss

Going through my overfilled closet, I tried my best to remain upbeat about Kai and I's special date.

He did say fun and flirty, right?

The breakup memory fresh in my mind, I didn't bother to pay much attention to what I was going to wear. Grabbing a small black and white dotted skirt, a white t-shirt with feather prints, and my high-top Vans, I headed towards my makeup counter, wanting to get my makeup out of the way.

Opting for a mixture of thin and a little thick makeup, I only applied concealer to the problems on my face and added a rosy blush to my face, just to be a little flirty. Then, I began on my eye.

Slowly blending some light brown eye shadow, I began to create the smoky look by gradually adding darker eye shadow to the crease. I continued to blend until I was sure there were no harsh lines or mistakes.

In order to make sure I wasn't going too strong, I applied some gold bling-bling eye shadow to my eyelid before applying some black eyeliner to line my eyes. I wanted to be cute and that required me to have some big eyes, flushed cheeks, and the glossy lip here in Korea. Applying the mascara, I dug through my lip tints until I found a nice shade of red.

I created a glossy gradient lip using my red tint and some concealer. Smiling at my look, I rapidly peeled off my comfortable clothes before putting on my clothes over my underwear. I rushed over to my mirror and did a quick little spin before dashing out, my Vans in hand.

Going over to my bags, I grabbed my mini white purse with a gold chain. I paired my outfit with some gold star earrings and a necklace to match.

I swiftly snatched my tropical perfume and sprayed it everywhere, not caring where it went.

Shoving in some makeup and money, I hurried outside and plopped down on the living room couch.

I scrolled through some material on my phone and my phone buzzed at a text I received.

It was Miriam.

Hey Cherry Coke, how are things going on over there?

Stop calling my Cherry Coke.

Why? You're bubbly, you have quite a temper, and Cher sounds like cherry! Cherry Coke!

Ugh... I hate you soooooo much.

Aw, love you too!

Anyway, I haven't met him yet. I still have another ten minutes.

Send me the look before I block you.

Rude. Here...
