"The question isn't who's going to let me it's who's going to stop me"
——————————————————

Shane was the type of overprotective guy.

He always was overprotective of me at least.

So once he found out one of my deepest secrets he begged me to stop.

I walked up to a shady run down building on the bad side of town.

I finished wrapping my knuckles.

I walked in and the familiar smell of sweat reached my nose.

There was a crowd men and woman alike screaming their heads of chanting names.

In the middle of the room was a ring with to guys circling each other.

Both already pretty worn out and bruised.

Then one knocked the other to the ground.

And he didn't get up.

Another man declared the one still standing the winner.

"Who wants to fight our raining champion?!" He shouted

"I will" I shouted

Everyone's heads turned towards me.

I smirked

It was time to claim back my title.

The man was pretty buff and always threw punches with his right hand first.

Probably his stronger hand.

I stepped into the ring.

"You sure little girls normally get hurt trying to fit in with the big guns" he said laughing.

"Oh don't worry about me"I said back

The bell went off signaling the beginning of the match.

We circled around each other.

He swung his right arm forward and I dodged it and swung my fist right into his face.

He stumbled back surprised.

I then round house kicked him in the side and then gave him a hard punch to the face.

He fell unconscious.

The Whole room was silent.

Then burst into cheers.

I looked out into the crowd and my eyes instantly locked with Shane's.

He shook his head in disapproval.

He knew I would be here.

And just seeing his face made my heart fall but it also made my blood boil.

I walked out of the ring, collected my money and my bag.

I walked out the door into the night.

I began fast walking to my bike hoping to leave before he got to me.

I got to my bike when I heard my name.

"Amber" an angry voice said

I didn't even have to turn around to know it was Shane.

So I just continued packing up my stuff.

"Amber!" He yelled.

"What what Shane?!" I screamed

"What the hell could you possibly want, I don't care what you think!"

"I trusted you to never hurt me to never leave me!"

"Why the hell are you going behind my back doing the one thing you know I hate!" He screamed back.

"Because you went off and started dating the one person I hate!" I screamed again.

"You-you fell in love with someone that made my life a living hell... you choose to love her over me" my voice becoming quieter.

All rage left his body his eyes calmed and his body relaxed.

Tears began to stream down my face and I was sobbing uncontrollably.

"Y-you choose her" I hiccuped.

I grabbed my helmet.

"No Amber I didn't choose her" he said quietly

"I never would choose her" he said grabbing my arm.

He turned me around.

"You were the one that chose someone else your the one that left me"

"But I stood by you hoping one day..." he trailed off.

"One day what?" I said while he wrapped his arms around me.

I buried my head into his chest.

"That one day you'd love me back" he said finishing his sentence.

"I always have I just didn't know it" I said looking up at him.

He wiped the tears away.

He gave me a big smile.

"No more fighting" he said raising his eyebrows.

"No more fighting"
