'I can do this' I thought as I pulled the arrow tawnt with the bow 'deep breaths.' I let my grip loosen and...... BAM! I opened my eyes realizing that I had hit the target almost dead on.
"Hhh AMIRA ,what did I tell you, line it up properly and it should-"
I cut him off by shooting an other arrow this time hitting just beside the bullseye point.
"AMIRA!" He marched up to me and grabbed my shirt lifting me off the ground "YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME AND LEARN TO SHOOT AN ARROW! DONT TEST ME, YOU WIL BE AN OBEDIENT DAUGHTER OR YOU STARVE! NO SUPER TONIGHT!"he then through me to the ground and walked away from the training grounds.
I felt tears fill my eyes. I cried and cried until I eventually fell asleep on a bench. I was woken by the feeling of being picked up and carried. "Mmmhm" I mumbled.
" Shhhhh it's okay go to sleep". A familiar voice whispered. It was my older brother Akim. "It's okay I had the butler leave some food in your room shhhhhhhhh go to sleep." He repeated softly.
