"Wait here." Yoongi told the girl, who was absolutely puzzled. She could see that the guy that brought her here went inside an ice cream shop. This was some kind of date, wasn't it? As far as she could recall, the girl did not agree to all this, but it could be something she could give back to him for returning the notebook. She began to reminsce about just a minute ago when he held her hand without hesitation. He didn't even grab her forcefully, so the girl felt alot safer after thinking about that. After all, she did see him a few times in school.
Not long after, Yoongi came back with two chocolate ice-cream cones in his hands. How did he even know that it was her favourite? He sat down beside her and passed one of the cones to her. But she waved her hand away, as a sign of rejection. A small frown appeared on Yoongi's face.
"It's okay. I didn't put poison in it."
After hearing those words, the girl then reluctantly took it from him. She didn't want to waste his money and she was smart, whenever you receive something for free, there was always a motive from the other. They both sat in silence for a while, taking in the fresh air on the streets. Until Yoongi broke it."Sorry for what happened yesterday," he paused for a while, and his eyes were still fixed ahead.
The girl stared at him, waited for him to continue."You should know my name already, what's yours?" He asked and finally turned his head to face hers. She sighed deeply for a few seconds, then reached into the pocket in her skirt for something. Taking out a pencil, she wrote something on her notebook. Yoongi observed her actions at the moment and he was really confused. Why didn't she just talk?
She tilted the notebook for him to see what she had written. My name is Kim Jisoo (A/N: Insert Lisa's voice)
"That's a nice name, though it's common." He chuckled when he saw the cute pout made on her face. But he was still curious. He wanted so much to hear her beautiful voice, but she haven't even made a sound. Instead, she kept writing on her notebook for a reason.
"I just want to ask, why haven't-"
Yoongi stopped when she 'interrupted' him by flipping the pages of her notebook backwards. Jisoo knew exactly what he was going to ask, the same question, same thing everyone ever cared about. Those just wanted to make fun of her later on, but she trusted this guy. She trusted Yoongi. She bit her lip and stared at the page for a while, before tilting the notebook for Yoongi. He leaned in closer, and could see many other sentences and words already written onto her notebook, seemed like conversations were made. He suddenly noticed Jisoo's finger pointing against the paper revealing two words,I'm mute
There, she underlined them specifically. She must have already mentioned this to many other people. He was totally surprised, he didn't expect a girl with a bright personality, pretty and elegant, to be disabled like this. Still, Yoongi was relieved that he wasn't the one to say that, and perhaps he could have made her upset. She did looked a little sad though, and he understood that she probably hated having to mention this two words to others many times. He, also hated seeing her like this. Unhappy.
"Jisoo-ssi, you like me, don't you?" He asked playfully, Jisoo shot him a look and hit his shoulder lightly.
"I'm just kidding, hajima!!" He laughed, his gummy smile already showing. It was rare for anyone to see it, he hardly smiled like this, for other people. This was the first time he showed a gummy smile to a girl. Jisoo thought his laugh was really sweet, and unique too. She, herself had a first impression of him being a cold person, but the gummy smile she saw was heavenly to her. Seeing him smile made her happy too, she loved it when others were. Jisoo's heart-shaped lips then broke into a bright smile, and Yoongi really thought that was the most angelic thing he ever saw.
"Let's be friends." Jisoo thought she heard wrongly, but once she saw Yoongi smiling at her sweetly, she realised that she wasn't. She scribbled on her notebook and quickly showed him.
Really?
Wow. Yoongi nodded happily at her. She couldn't believe him. It was so sudden. No one would actually want to be friends with her after they heard those words from her. Being too excited, she hugged him tightly, not realising anything wrong doing that. Yoongi was shock, but he immediately came back to his senses and returned the hug. He never felt that warmth for a very long time. Another first time hugging a girl, he just never knew what he was getting himself into. After they pulled away from each other, both cheeks were tinted red as they looked into each others' eyes. Those feelings Yoongi had at that moment, were totally different from Jisoo's.
