Yoongi closed his door quietly, his back against it as he sat down on the floor. He stared across his dark room, then at his table where the lamp had only lit up the small area on his desk. Suddenly noticing the cup still on his desk, he trudged tiredly towards it, mind blank like how his eyes appeared. There was still some leftover tea so he gulped down as swift as possible, remembering that Jisoo kindly made it for him. Once his lips left the cup, only then had he realised. They felt weird. Why? he thought involuntarily, even though he clearly knew the reason. Maybe it was because he had kissed someone before that, thats why he must have felt awkward.

But how? his head, almost instinctively collected into the image of her peaceful face and he could visualise himself leaning in until his lips fell upon hers.Jisoo's heart-shaped lips. It felt so gentle and soft just like her character, if it had not been such an unexpected mistake, the moment would be so perfect and passionate. How was he going to face Jisoo the next morning? Or ever again? Yoongi ruffled his mint-coloured hair and could only feel more stressed. With the presence of Jisoo just down the stairs still in his house, it had only made it worse. His head dropped down and he sighed with a hint of regret. Feeling embarrassed with the scene playing in his head for the tenth time, why did he do that? However Yoongi was too exhausted to ask himself once again so he just lied down on the bed and forced the forming thoughts out just for the night. He figured he wouldn't be able to sleep that night anyway.

The next morning Yoongi woke up yet being less than refreshed or prepared for the day. Taking his time, he changed and showered as if his energy had already drained, and creaked open his bedroom door to the blinding sunlight shining onto his face. Annoyed, he ignored and only felt more awake to have filled his thoughts about the girl who stayed in last night. His mute and beautiful girl that he undoubtedly kissed while she was sleeping. Great, it sounded just like a fairy tale except he was relieved she did not open her eyes to acknowledge the moment, it would have become awkward then. However, the fact that Yoongi actually yearned for it to happen must have bothered him from then onwards.

The weary boy lumbered down his long stairway, squinted eyes fixed on the grey couch before he realised it was empty. He sighed in defeat as he already missed her. It was as if the house felt more quiet than usual and it made Yoongi miss Jisoo even more for no reason. Therefore, without eating any breakfast, he grabbed his jacket off the couch that he swore he had not place it there the last time, and headed out rather hurriedly. He stepped out onto his porch letting out a breath of cold air as he rubbed both his arms hastily. Even the jacket and his long, black jeans were not keeping him warm enough, he began thinking about Jisoo having it worse, with her pants that didn't reach past her knees and having to wake up early, he frowned at the idea that she could have caught a cold today.

With his footsteps following the tracks of countless couples on the streets and trees swaying together, Yoongi figured he should get to Jisoo's house and be beside her again like always.

It wasn't before several knocks on the door and standing infront of it awkwardly did he notice that she must have went out. Yoongi held on to the idea that she was in danger but when he glanced upon the wet pavement and saw small, fading footsteps that led out the front door, he sighed in relief. A hint of disappointment showed on his solemn face as he had begun to feel bored and especially lonesome. As he strolled alongside those little footsteps aimlessly, Yoongi began having flashes of moments of the time he confessed to Jisoo. She haven't given him a proper answer yet, or perhaps the one he wanted and needed her to. A little embarrassed, Yoongi could feel his cheeks getting warmer despite being in the cold air. They had flickered into the same colour as his pink lips. Why did he confess so soon?

Jisoo was incredibly beautiful in a way that he wanted to be the only one to explain her beauty, since it was unique to others. However, what if he could spend most of his time looking at the prettiest angel? Yoongi could recall those soft, crystal eyes that looked like they held so much emotions when he told Jisoo he liked her, or those times he made sure to care for her, tease her and opened up to her about his own personal problems. He was glad Jisoo had showed up in school on her first day with that strong personality still, and finally didn't regret one more special student staring at him when he caused some trouble out of habits throughout the times. There was no way to deny that both were captivated in each other.

Yoongi passed their school and could recognise a few students walking by themselves or with their parents. He thought about how he had the chance to walk Jisoo to her workplace after school so often and felt glad to have spent so much time around her. Eventually, he decided to go visit Jisoo's workplace - the café.

Yoongi's heart almost leaped out of his chest when he stepped into the café, and his eyes fell upon no other than the most beautiful girl there, harshly cleaning the counter. He was elated to have finally found Jisoo after dragging his feet around the area. Sitting down quickly, it was clear that there were hardly anyone yet such that it was peaceful. The morning light only shone in and Yoongi worried that she had to rush to work so early.

Yoongi's eyes followed Jisoo's face and those gleaming eyes as she came over to his table. She looked up from her notebook and her eyes widened, paired with a small gasp, almost immediately when she realised it was Yoongi. However, she instantly returned to her posture and remained solemn.

"Hey, I've been looking for you. You left me lonely in the house." He pretended to sulk, and watched a few strands of dark hair from her now sloppy ponytail, falling gently on her shoulders. He then shifted his gaze to those eyebags under her eyes, almost half as dark as her hair. "You should sit down. You're already tired," Jisoo stared at him and shrugged, still waiting for his order but he didn't seem like he wanted anything. She stood there awkwardly, wanting to say something as she gripped her pencil, but she figured she couldn't bring it out with the way Yoongi turned away to look outside. Besides, it wasn't worth the time to waste her manager's paper. While Jisoo turned silently to assist other customers, Yoongi only observed her from afar.

He watched her move past the room, afraid to call her over. Maybe it was because he did not feel like getting nagged at by her manager for coming to the café again and distracting Jisoo. Maybe he was dumbfounded by the countless times Jisoo had avoided his eyes, and moved frantically around anywhere but in his presence. He could tell by the nervous glances and how she felt uncomfortable when she neared his table, what concerned him even more was how she was awfully quiet that day. He became alarmed at the forming idea implanted in his mind again.

What if she knew? He whispered hastily to himself, as he stared at the tabletop. Yoongi tapped his fingers nervously on the sparkly clean table, which had been stained a little too soon when Jisoo had placed a cup of his favourite drink on the table. And she slipped in to the seat opposite his. After he whipped his head up, Jisoo gave a small smile and began to scribble on her own notebook. She thought it was cute how fluffy Yoongi's hair appeared, some had been ruffled from his sleep.

Need any help with the resumes? Sorry for falling asleep without checking in on you last night

He glanced at the page and his eyes softened in relief when she still worried about him. "It's fine, I finished up. But it would be great if you come over again," he said calmly, smiling with a hopeful yet pleading look. "I promise not to disrupt your sleep," he mumbled under his breath even though he was very afraid that Jisoo would hear. Even if she did, he hoped she understood that it had been an accident.

I probably look horrible now, my manager has scolded me for that. Don't worry though, I've just been troubled lately. I swear I'm okay.

"If you say so, I'm here if you want to talk about it." he told her softly, his hand swiftly placed onto Jisoo's icy cold hand and both rested on the table. Yoongi lifted the cup to his lips with his other hand and sipped it slowly, eyes fixated on Jisoo.

Jisoo's palm became sweaty with the warmth of Yoongi's hand sweeping over hers. At the same time, a glint of sweat formed on Jisoo's forehead and fell on to the soft paper of her notebook, staining it.
