Leaning back on her chair, she stretched her arms forward and sighed. She felt exhausted, and her hands were tired after typing for the whole day. Jisoo glanced back at the bunch of words on the computer screen. She felt like she didn't even had hands anymore, but it couldn't be helped since reality hit her and she had only done a few resumes.
"Take a break, I can do it." he said and placed a cup of water on the table beside Jisoo. She shook her head and immediately leaned forward to continue her work.
"Seriously, you've been doing this the whole day. I'm not going to burden you for my own responsibility." Jisoo continued staring intently at the computer screen and ignored his words. Yoongi took his hands off Jisoo's shoulders and placed them on hers to stop her from typing vigoriously. She stopped typing. Heat rushed up Jisoo's face as she feels her hands heating up, not just because of the warmth and his soft hands pressing against her stiff and bony ones, it was the one that was warming up her heart.
"Please take a rest. I can do it." he reassured, backing off from Jisoo's face. Yoongi could tell her breath hitched as she took in a deep breath. Jisoo reached out her hands for her notebook and began writing again.
Are you sure? There are many jobs to write for. Remember to take a break.
Jisoo grabbed the cup of water wearily from the table and sipped it while dragging herself down the stairs, weary-eyed. She shuffled into the kitchen, standing at the counter to wash her cup. She grabbed a packet of jasmine tea powder from the cupboard above her, and poured it into another cup she washed, stirring the mixture quick with a spoon after adding some warm water. She carefully held the warm cup, her footsteps beating and making soft noises against the floor as she sprinted up the staircase, but made sure the cup of tea did not topple from her hands.
She immediately stumbled among the opened door of the room where her best friend was, stopping in her tracks to check if the tea has lessened from the massive hot steam rising in the cup. Her fingers felt numb and warm holding the cup, so she blew in it to cool the tea down while brisk walking to Yoongi's table. Taking a glance at him as she put the cup down, she could see the seriousness in his eyes as he squinted at the screen weirdly, his fingers typing faster than ever.
"I'll have to stay up, I guess but don't worry, if you get bored just watch tv or something. " she nodded and shrugged a little, glancing at the concentrated Yoongi before leaving the room. She sat down on the sofa and thought of more things that she could help Yoongi with. After glancing at the clock sitting on the table, Jisoo realised it had gone late in the night already. Should she go home? Maybe, but it was too dark out for her to look where she was going. Second, it was obvious that Jisoo did not want to leave Yoongi right now, not after the time they spent together. It kept her heart paced for no reason, she almost giggled when she thought about the little things Yoongi did that would make her cheeks flushed. But she figured she shouldn't be thinking about these things while the main cause of them must be stressing out and struggling in the bedroom right now, to work on resumes all night because Jisoo told him to.
Other than that, Jisoo decided to watch a movie since she couldn't sleep. It was not like she wanted to admit to herself that it was because of Yoongi. So she grabbed the remote and picked a good random movie to watch.

Time flew by pretty fast. Jisoo was only half way through the movie and she felt tired. The scene played at that moment was actually interesting but she couldn't help her eyelids that kept drooping and her head that slowly hung backwards. And finally, the movie played in the background continued lulling Jisoo to sleep.By that time, Yoongi had finished the work, cracking his knuckles and letting out a sigh as he rested his back against the chair.
The first thing that came to his mind was Jisoo and he wondered what she was doing. She must have left already since it was late, but he could hear muffled sounds from what he could recognise, his television downstairs.
Strutting down the stairs, he glanced at the living room where a scene from a familar movie he already watched, was played on his television. Since the lights were turned off, the place was dark but he could see where he was going. Yoongi strolled over towards the coffee table infront of the couch to get the remote, his face falling since he was exhausted.
However, once he turned off the tv, everything was silent. But he could still hear someone breathing softly behind him. He whirled around, only to spot a sleepy Jisoo out cold on the couch. Her body was slouched against the fabric and her head rested on her palm. With a smile present on his face, Yoongi slowly draped a blanket over Jisoo until it almost reached her head and crouched down beside to observe her.
In a position where Jisoo's face was right in front of his, yoongi's heart beated a little faster. She still looks so beautiful asleep, he thought unconsciously. Her dark locks falling onto her face, her sharp nose and lastly those lips that appeared to look like a heart. How could anyone not get captivated by her, aside from Jisoo's dorkiness and the happiness she always spreads. He wonders how he could ever resist someone like her, especially in this position where they were inches apart. With Jisoo's pink lips parted a little, his own had so much desire to connect with hers. However Yoongi figured that he shouldn't, since it was not in his place to steal her first kiss, whether she knows it or not. He decided to just place a quick peck on her cheek to calm himself down, so he sat up slowly and leaned into the side cheek of a sleeping Jisoo.

What he didn't know of, was when Jisoo turned her head at the supposedly wrong timing. The moment their lips touched and his eyes widened, a blush crawled up Yoongi's cheeks involuntarily. How he wished her lips were as soft as her cheeks and he did not have to open his eyes to become puzzled. In reality, Jisoo was still in her deep slumber and unaware of any hot air surrounding her. He didn't feel like pulling back at all.A/N:
