'How did I get into this situation again?' Delsin asked himself. 'Well you did agree to take her as an escort. What? Did you expect her to just forget?' Kyubi smirked. 'One, stop eavesdropping on my thoughts and two, No but I thought she was kidding. I didn't think she would make me dress up in this....what do you call this Japanese dress?'

'Its called a Kimono, kit. Besides, you do owe her for the shit she did for you. Like those annoying mortals called the council' Kyubi said as he growled the last part. Delsin sighed as he remembered his run in with them.

Flashback

As Delsin, Tsunade, Shizune and Jiraiya made their way to the council chambers there was unnerving. As they reached the door, Tsunade pushed it open to meet a bunch of people behind a gigantic desk. "Afternoon, Lady Hokage" the people said. "Afternoon. Now please. Let us start the meeting. What is the council's concern?" Tsunade asked.

"That boy right beside you, Hokage-sama!" One of the councillors said, pointing to Delsin. Tsunade sighed at the antics of the civilian. "What about Delsin-ku- I-I mean Delsin-san" Tsunade caught herself, which got the attention from one Inuzuka clan head. "He is a danger to the village and should either be banished or executed!" The same civilian ordered with the other civilians nodded in agreement.

Delsin was shocked at the man's statement. 'Don't be too surprised, kit. They've been trying to do this to Naruto for years. But the bastards obviously failed' Kyubi said as he growled. "Are you insane?! Delsin has been anything but helpful. Shinobi in our ranks respect him and he's been a huge help on missions. He's even helped us with the Akatsuki and Orochimaru!" Tsunade argued.

"Lady Hokage is right!" Shizune spoke up. "Delsin-kun is probably one of our strongest ninja and if it wasn't for him, who knows what would've happened on those missions!". "That maybe Shizune-san" a man spoke up. He looked like an older Shikamaru. The only difference between them were the scars on the right side of his face and his hair was more wild then his. "But the fact of the matter is we don't know where he comes from. He could have heat on him, even if unintentionally. The point is we don't know anything about him". "That may be Shikaku-Sama but he's been proven to be a good help" Tsunade argued. 'You know, there talking about me as if I'm not even here' Delsin thought.

"Have Inoichi-Sama search his memories! Then we'll see his true intent!" Another civilian shouted. Delsin then started sweating 'Oh no.....'. 'Kit, what ever you do... Don't let that Yamanaka enter your mind!' Kyubi said a little panicky. "Uh...I assure you that you won't need to do that...". "And why not, boy?" Said the one with pale eyes. "Because.....uh...". "Because, Hiashi, we can't touch him without the Fire Lord's say!" Tsunade said with Jiraiya smirking.

"What do you mean? What's the Fire Lord have anything to do with this?" Inoichi asked confused. "Because as Shikaku said we don't know him. He could be someone of importance and to kill him will bring attention to Konoha we don't need. So we'll leave this to the Fire Lord to deal with". The council room was murmuring until finally Tsume broke the silence. "Alright Lady Hokage, the pup can stay till words get to The Fire Lord. We will send word-". "No, the Fire Lord's royal ball is in a few days and I am going and Delsin-san is supposed to be my escort along with Jiraiya so I'll tell him there. Now if that's all-". "What is Delsin-san's capabilities? What level is he?" A old man said. Delsin noticed Tsunade and Jiraiya narrow thier eyes at the man "he's Jonin level. Now if that's all, Hime was about to call this meeting off" Jiraiya said as the four of them left as well as the other civilians and clan heads.

"Thank you Lady Tsunade but if I'm causing you and your village too much trouble... maybe I should leave" Delsin said. "Nonsense! I will not let you leave just because those disgusting civilians think they can boss me around so don't worry about it". Tsunade then smirked with a light blush. "But what you should worry about is getting you a Kimono for the ball in a few days" Delsin nodded with a blush and walked away.
