Revealed! The Uchiha's True Demise!

A few hours after Tsunade dismissed them, the group had reached a small town to come up with a strategy to find Itachi. They landed on a roof as Kakashi signaled them to. "Alright, everyone here is aware of our objective, correct? This is our rendezvous point after we span out in five kilometers to search for Itachi" Kakashi said.

"Wait! How could we keep in contact with each other when we're so far out? The communication comms can't work if we're that far from each other and-". "Relax pinky. We hounds can communicate far better than those comms. Our voices can travel far, trust us" Pakkun interrupted.

Sakura nodded, a little miffed about being called 'Pinky'. "Remember. Itachi was Konoha shinobi. He already tried infiltrating the village just to get Naruto a couple of years ago". "So he's probably headed back there already to retrieve Naruto" Sai said. "...Or Yugito-chan, Bee-san or me" Delsin concluded.

"Then that means Sasuke-kun is probably following Itachi" Sakura said. Naruto nodded. "Yeah...I'm gonna meet up with Sasuke, no matter what!". Yamato sighed. "Lets just calm down guys, we still have to find Itachi before we get to Sasuke". Kakashi nodded in agreement. "Now, I'm assigning two ninja hounds to each ninja except for Delsin-san, Kiba-san and I"

The Chunin nodded but Naruto spoke up as no ninja hound came to him. "Hey! What about me?". "You're a Jinchuriki. It's too dangerous for you to be on your own so I'm assigning you with Yamato, Delsin-san and Hinata-san due to the former being a sage and the latter having the Byakugan"

"I-I-It's..nice to work..w-with you, Naruto-kun" Hinata said as she blushed. Naruto smiled and nodded her way. "Wow Hinata. It's not like your working with Captain Yamato and I too, you know" Delsin said sarcastically. Hinata immediately blushed in embarrassment and shook her hands in a defensive manner.

"N-No! I-Its not like...that D-D-Delsin-kun! I'm happy t-to be w-working with you guys as w-well". Delsin laughed. "It's okay Hinata-san I was just teasing you". Hinata sighed in relief that she didn't offend anybody and smiled. "Oh...o-okay". Kakashi continued on with his instructions.

"Anyway, your goal is to track Itachi and Sasuke's scents but if you do encounter either of them, verify their location then return to this exact spot. Especially you Naruto and Delsin. Don't go running off". Naruto nodded but Delsin felt a little insulted. "Wait! Why did you say 'Especially Delsin"? I mean, I get Naruto but why me? I don't go running off?".

Kakashi glared at him. "Do you really want me to bring up the mission to capture Three Tails? Or the time you tried to run off and kill those Akatsuki members?". Delsin sighed in annoyance. "No cause you already brought them up" he mumbled. Kodai and Natsuki heard that and snickered.

"Right! Lets move out!" Kakashi ordered as everyone scattered into their directions.

With Delsin and group

The six got into a considerable amount of distance from the others so they started searching. "Alright Natsuki-chan, start sniffing". "Alright Delsin-sama!" Natsuki replied as she started to sniff the area. Naruto was walking beside Hinata as she was using her eyes to see anything.

"Did you find anything Hinata?". The Hyuga kunoichi shook her head in a negative. "N-No. Nothing s-so far...". Delsin looked at his grey wolf tracker. "Anything?". She shook her head. Delsin sighed.  "I thought you said that the scent was near a while ago. What happened?".

"I thought it was too but it went off in different directions. I can't really pinpoint it. Another thing is that when i do pinpoint it, the trail goes cold. Like he knows someones following him" Natsuki said. Kodai nodded. "Though my nose isn't as strong as nee-san's but I can confirm that the trail in fact does go cold here. Lets keep going in this direction untill we spot something".
