The Conduit Paths Part 3: The Beast From Hell

"Where.....where the hell am I?!" Cole asked looking directly at Delsin, who was too busy watching the Beast tackle Bee in his Eight Tails final state. "Cole! Cole its me! Lucy! Just calm down!" She said, grabbing the Electric Conduit's arm. Cole turned to her and widened his eyes as he saw her, alive and well.

"Lucy?...." he said as he watched her nod her head and he jumped back and prepared a attack. "Whoa! Dude chill!" Delsin said, finally paying attention to the two. "You betrayed us, Kuo. It may have been different times then but I'll see to it you won't breathe another ounce of air!"  he glared. Lucy watched him with baited breath. "Cole....that....I made a mistake. I was wrong and I was and still am sorry! You dont think I wish to take everything back? I wish I could reverse time and change what happened between us but I can't".

Cole remained silent as he watched her cry and Delsin watched him, to make sure he didn't do anything stupid before he had to kill him.....again. "Whatever..." He said. "Are we alive again? If so, where's Zeke? Nix? The Beast?! What about the Beast?!". Lucy only looked behind Delsin to see John standing tall and proud and decking Yin Kurama in the face with its powerful punch. Cole turned so pale that Delsin wondered if he truly and fully revived the guy cause for his face to be so pale he had to have some blood in his body for that to happen.

"S-S-So we failed...." He started. He looked around to see the decimated area and grew even paler. "So....t-t-this is what's left of N-N-New Marias? Or did he already destroy that and move on to the rest of the world?". Delsin shook his head and patted him on the shoulder. "No, not quite. You actually did defeat the Beast and you all along with some conduits around the world died out but we weren't completely wiped out, just decreased. You along with Lucy and John up there are reanimation, essentially brought back to life temporarily" he explained.

Cole nodded his head. "So who....reanimated us? Was it you?". Delsin shook his head again. "Technically, no. I may have released you from a jutsu of someone else's doing but I had no intention of pulling any of you in this fight. I'm just going along as opportunities play out in front of me". Cole squinted his eyes in confusion. "Jutsu? Someone else's doing? What's going on? Who are you?!". Delsin sighed. "Well I'm Delsin Rowe, a fellow conduit and you're in another dimension, a dimension full of ninja!" He said. Cole blinked his eyes blankly, not beliving a word he said.

"Right......and I have a game about me as the main character" he said sarcastically. The author of this book looked am down at them and then at you, the reader, and spoke. "Should I....Should I tell him?" The author asked. Back in the story, Delsin glared at him. "Look its the truth, look around you, you think there would be giant foxes and monstor Ox fighting a 50 feet tall man in our world?....maybe. But not at casual! We aren't on our earth anymore!". Cole sighed. "Okay so how'd we get here?".

Delsin began to explain the whole ordeal to Cole, his reanimation, who done it, what was going on and Why he was here and when he was done, he wasnt surprised about Cole's response. "Well I have no intention of fighting in your pointless war. This is ridiculous!". Delsin sighed. He understood why he wouldn't want to participate in this stupid war. No one would but Delsin was in it whether he liked it or not. Cole and Lucy, they had an option. So does John when he frees him and sets his mind straight. 'Well in John's own sick twisted version of straight minded' he said.

He was grateful that Lucy understood and wanted to help him willingly but he was afraid Cole would think otherwise and his fear had proven to be correct. "Cole, You have to help! In this case, this war is just as much as our problem as it is theirs!". "And how exactly is that our problem, Kuo?! None of us are even from this world but some people like to pretend they are! I know where I belong and I belong back home, in our dimension, in our heaven! I refuse to die here on this wasted soil!" Cole said.
