With Delsin

Jumping from tree to tree, tracking down two S-RANK ninja was boring to say the least. Kōdai, who had been the team's hunter dog for the time being, said their scent was far. Probably near the Rice country.

As Delsin was following behind Kōdai, Delsin thought of Kurenai's confession. He didn't know she felt such strong feelings for him. I mean the date, the couple of Genjutsu training sessions and the sleep over really sounds rushed but Kurenai isn't that type.

He knew she wasn't shallow like most girls around Konoha or even back at Seattle. She really is a hard worker, in fact she works a little too hard working. She's very caring to those she's close to and protective of them. Although she's six years older than him, she tends to act like a new twenty year old fresh into college.

Delsin also liked the way her lips tasted. The scent was like strawberries. The taste was even better and it felt like clouds kissing him. Her eyes were also alluring. Like staring into a ruby itself. It also remind him of a Uchiha's Sharingan.

He had first thought when he saw her eyes is that she was actually an Uchiha but she assured him that many people thought the same and that she was one hundred percent not a Yuuhi. Delsin also thought of her body and his face heated up. Kōdai, who was now beside him, smirked at him teasingly.

"Why are you blushing, Delsin-sama? Thinking about your mate?". Delsin blushed even more but Ino just glared at the ground. "N-No! Shut up! Anyway, just how far are we from the Land of Rice Patties?" Delsin asked, still somewhat blushing.

"Still about 3 hours away. Before we continue however, we need an assessment of their skills. Shikamaru, what was the enemy like?" Kakashi asked as he stopped tree jumping and landed on the ground, along with everyone else.

"Well, there's Hidan, a guy with a red tri blade scythe. Although skilled in that art, he's not much of a threat if we all gang up on him. He claims to be immortal and is proven to be quite true when Asuma-sensei cut his head off and he was still talking as if it was a minor scratch. Word to wise though, don't let him get a drop of your blood" Shikamaru warned them.

Everyone was confused. "Why Shikamaru? I mean yeah we should try our best not to get injured but what's a drop of blood gonna do?" Choji asked as Delsin and Ino nodded in agreement. "Well if Hidan gets a sample of your blood, he does this weird jutsu where his body turns black and white and if he inflicts an injury on himself, that same damage is felt by the owner of the blood he took. That was how.... Asuma-sensei died"

Everyone had wide eyes. Delsin started to sweat. 'Glad I didn't go by myself now....' Delsin thought to himself. "Kakazu however is the real threat. He captured Kotesu and Izumo relatively quick. He didn't even use jutsu if you don't count that weird wire thing he does. Other than that, the guy's true power is a total mystery to me".

Kakashi took the information in. As much as he hated the fact that one Akatsuki remained a mystery, they had info on the other so maybe they can use that. "Alright, Hidan, although a problem, not as much of a threat as Kakazu. So Shikamaru, do you have a plan?". Shikamaru smirked. "I'd thought you'd never ask...."

With Naruto

"Arrgg! What am I doing wrong?! Everytime I do my Rasengan and add my wind Chakra it's always blowing up in my face!" Naruto said as he crashed to the ground in frustration. Yamato just sighed. "Naruto, for most shinobi it takes years to master their affinity but you've gotten farther than most have and you've only been training for a good month. Why are you in such a rush?".

"Because Delsin-san has already mastered his fire affinity and word from Kakashi-sensei, he's moving onto lightning. Why does he get to have three when I only have one?" Naruto asked, confused and jealous. "Captain Yamato, How does the the elements work again?" Naruto asked, scratching the back of his head and smiling sheepishly.
