Yuri had to drag herself to school today. Natsuki was gonna yell at her, and she wasn't looking forward to it.

Natsuki thought about how much she wanted to yell at Yuri for leaving so soon.

Natsuki was gonna hate her forever, surely.

Natsuki just wanted to hold on tight to Yuri and love her forever.

Natsuki was gonna kill her.

Natsuki wanted to...give Yuri life. Or something like that. Whatever is the opposite of killing her.

"Okay guys!" Monika says. "We kind of read the whole time again, so sorry about that, but it's time to share poems! Afterwards we can discuss the meaning of our poems with the rest of the club."

Yuri excused herself to the restroom during this time.

She quietly came into the classroom, right after MC had discussed the meaning of his poem to everyone else.

"Yuri, why not you next?" Monika said suddenly, turning to her as she walked in.
"E-eh? But...what's the p-point?"
"We're starting a new activity, of course! We need to start being more confident about sharing. So we will discuss as a club!" Monika said happily.
Not giving Natsuki a single look, Yuri stubbornly wedged into her seat with the neat notebook paper in her hands. No one was gonna bother asking her to stand up to recite. With a sigh, Yuri began to read.

"Summer and Winter"

"The winter sits next to the spring and fall
But winter knows summer is best
Winter likes summer the best because
Summer is friendly and lively and lovely
Summer is warm and charming and hot

Summer doesn't really like winter
Winter is cold and fierce and much too intense
She tries trusting winter for the first time
But winter just starts a storm of the two

Winter likes summer because summer is nice
Summer is cute and fun
But no one likes winter
Especially summer
because summer knows winter is dumb"

Yuri stares at her desk after finishing. The whole room is in silence.

"Uh. Where did you, um, get inspiration from?" Natsuki asks her softly.
Yuri pretends not to hear her and slowly begins to curl up into herself in her seat.
"Natsuki asked you a question, Yuri." Sayori adds quietly.
"Well....I was inspired...by....by the seasons..." Yuri drifts off and refuses to look at anyone.
MC, not really understanding the situation, says "I get it. Each season represents an original club member, like one of the members before I came. Sayori is Spring and Monika is Fall, i suppose, so I guess that would make Yuri and Natsuki winter an-"
He shut up real fast as the gears in his brain worked out the true meaning of the poem.

"Well, it looks like we're out of time!" Monika spoke into the heavy air. "Sayori, MC, you guys can go. But I kind of want an extra bit of time with the two of you!" Monika laughs a little, as Sayori and MC hurriedly rush out with their things.

"So, you two, I wanna show you something. Let me go get it, you wait here." Monika left and took her things with her.

After about 10 minutes of silence, Natsuki suddenly speaks. Loudly and clearly, like
she'd been rehearsing her lines.

"It's okay what you did yesterday. I kinda liked it." Natsuki gulps. Nervously. Like that shouldn't have come out.
"...No you didn't. You're just saying that. It...it was creepy. Doing that while you slept?" Tears began to visibly well in Yuri's eyes. She resembled a kicked puppy.

Without any warning, Natsuki stood up and walked to Yuri. Yuri was sure she was going to slap her or yell at her or something, and yet stayed still and waited for her "punishment." She was shocked when tiny fingers wiped away her tears, which had started falling.
"You...dummy. You absolute idiot. Of course I meant it. You make me happy, and help me deal with my dad and my house and my problems. Without you, i'm not me."
Natsuki sat in Yuri's lap all of a sudden, her  legs straddling Yuri's and her hands resting loosely on the taller's shoulders.
Yuri's face became dark red, tears all completely gone, and she felt funny. Natsuki's face was even darker red than Sayori's bow.
"I love you, you dork."
And with that, they kiss. Small and hesitant and full of nerves. Yuri wrapped her arms around Natsuki shyly. It felt like so much more to them than just kissing. It felt like bungee jumping off the world's highest cliff. Like being attacked and burned with the most pretty fireworks you've ever seen. Running alongside a pack of wild, vicious wolves. Natsuki and Yuri felt it all. They stayed connected for as long as they could, and only separated because they needed air.

Then they kissed again, Natsuki feeling bold and wiping a tongue across Yuri's lip.

And then a knock came at the door.
"May I come in?"

"No, you may not!" Natsuki suddenly disconnected and shrieked, which made Yuri breath for a second and then giggle. She couldn't believe that had just happened. But she felt the happiest she'd ever been.
"Ok! Well it turns out, the thing I wanna show you guys doesn't exist! I just wanted to let you guys make up, but gosh, keep the making out for home-"
"Can you leave!" Natsuki screeched again at Monika through the door.
"Teehee~ Make sure you don't stay too long, you two, bye bye!"
Natsuki sighs, and looks into Yuri's beautiful violet eyes. Yuri looks down at her, filled with happiness, enjoying the pink flowery color of Natsuki's eyes.

"Wanna come to my place?"
"Sure."
