It wasn't often that Mako decided to walk from his hideout in the broad of daylight, but currently, he felt safe enough to do so. Well, as safe as someone can feel with a scrap gun by their side. Rutledge wasn't a people person, but he didn't mind as many people were too afraid to even come near him due his menacing size and weaponry. The large man walked down the dirt path that served as a walkway and a roadway, passed some broken down buildings when, he heard a rustling in an alleyway.

Make looked down the dirty and drenched passage way, holding his loaded gun by his side. His head stayed still but his eyes darted around, looking for any signs of movement. The sounds of water dripping out of pipes and hitting the ground was pretty much the only thing he heard. Other than people watching sports games in their homes and at bars, but other than that. The man slightly snorted and continued on until, Thud! A loud metal crashing came from the alley, as Rutledge quickly raised his gun and looked, to see a few garbage cans knocked over.

He wanted to think it was just a cat or something, until he heard swearing and grumbling coming from down the path. As the large man made his way down the alleyway, coming towards the trashcan mass, he caught sight of the swearing sailor. It was a small creature that resembled a rat, mixed with a frail man. Hog could only watch with confusion, but curiosity as well, as the things tail trashed to move inbetween it's legs while it curled up. As Mako watched, he noticed the dirt and grime over the thin being, seeing that it obvious hasn't seen or probably ever head of a shower.

The hog of a man moved over and kicked the cans out of the way, as the rat amalgamation, perked up and tried to scurry away. The only problem with that was the Mako stepped on it's tail to keep it from doing exactly that, and he refused to let go even as the creature clawed his legs and large stomach. Mako let out a deep sigh as he lifted his gun and put it out, as the creatures head lifted up, being right in front of the barrel as it's ears dropped quickly. It's face went nearly white as it gulped hard, pulling off of Mako's stomach, realizing that the gun would not come from his forehead.

"Uh, heh.. So uh, you gonna move that thing or what? It's kind of makin' me a bit nervous.." The rat gulped again and scratched at his chest. Hog shook his head and pressed the gun to the rat's forehead, nearly knocking him over. "Alright, alright, alright! What do ya' want from me mate? I'll-I'll give ya' anything ya' want that I 'ave, just don' kill me!" The rat hurriedly tried to pull his tail from under Mako's large boot, to then tumble back. His head hit on one of the concrete walls, but acted as if it didn't happen, rushing over to his little trash pile, digging around.

After a few seconds, he rummaged out a small coin purse, rushing to Mako and practically throwing at him. Mako looked at the smaller male, then down at the purse and picked it up with a slight struggle. He opened it to find a few bills, and coins, Just enough to grab a bite to eat but not much else. Rutledge then huffed and turned away, beginning to walk back down the alley but stopped. He could hear the rat rummaging around in the cans again, as he moved back over and grabbed it's tail. "You're coming with me." He threw the rat over his shoulder and started to walk back out.

"Uh, wait, what?! I don' even have my stuff ya' lard!" The rat quickly jumped off and ran back to it's trash pile, digging through once more. He pulled out a weird homemade looking gun, that probably wouldn't even work as far as Mako was concerned. He noticed the smaller male grab a few grenades, mines, and traps as the Hog was surprised that people would leave this kind of stuff around. He then shrugged as the rat caught back up with him. "I'm Jamison by the way! But many call m-"

"I'll just call you Rat." Mako huffed through his mask as he kept walking, looking around for food. The rat looked up and pinned his ears, not liking the name but knew he wouldn't be able to change it. He sighed and followed the large man as he walked to a nearby restaurant. He knew he wouldn't be allowed in so he ducked around the back but was stopped as Hog grabbed his tail again. The sudden touch made Jamison emit a squeak as he clawed at Mako's hand, to then get dropped on the ground. "You're coming too." Mako then grabbed his hand and pulled Jamison in behind him.

The rat sighed and followed, knowing, this was his doom and fate. To follow around a lard man who could blow out his brains or crush him under his weight. Exactly what he always wanted.
