3 days of sitting on the sofa and convincing myself that missing this much school because I couldn't be bothered was fine. I finally decided that I should probably turn up to work.
So I did I showered and finally got out of my pyjamas and skated through the park, the wind blowing my hair across my face the thin rain refreshing my skin.
But by the time I got to work the rain had increased and I now resembled a drowned rat I was glad to get inside.
"Wow you look..."Dan mumbled trying not to laugh.
"It's not funny I'm freezing!"I said throwing my soaked jacket at a radiator.
"Awww come here"dan smiled wrapping his arms around me. Squeezing me tighter "wow you really are freezing" he smiled hugging me tighter again
"I'm fine we should probably stop this as there is a confused woman standing behind you waiting for coffee"I whispered laughing.
"Okay, now go wash up!"dan smirked as I walked towards the kitchen.

After 3 hours of washing up, making coffee and cleaning we were finally finished and ready for the after school rush. While we waited for this we where sat on a sofa in the corner drinking almost cold coffee.
"That old woman that came in just after you did asked how long we'd been together"dan said as I moved my legs so they were resting on his knees. "do you think we act like we're together?"he added
"My mum and Katie are convicted that we're together"I laughed. I'd never really thought about how much we actually did act like we were a couple.
Why'd yo-"dan was cut off mid sentence by the door slamming shut and Katie slumping down in the seat across from us. Her arms folded across her chest making her look like a nine year old who didn't get what they wanted.
"The service in here is terrible"Calum shouted sarcastically from where he was standing by the counter
"I'm coming!"I shouted moving of the sofa to behind the counter
"Usual"Calum smiled leaning against the counter.
"What's up with her?"I asked gesturing over to where Katie was sitting.
"Long story"he shrugged
"Spill!"I said raising my eyebrows at him
"Fine, well Katie's on that committee thing for that end of year ball thing"Calum sighed. We both thought that the ball was pointless.
"Yeah"I muttered paying more attention to the coffee machine.
"And you know that the school has like majorly cracked down on PDA since that incident with the year elevens in the science toilets"
"Yeah"I repeated pouring the milk into the coffees. I could already tell where Calum's story was going.
"Well Luke was caught in one of the IT suites with his new girl, Lucy I think. she's blonde booby year 11 and they've called it off"Calum finished. Okay maybe I didn't know exactly where his story was going.
"Wow a year 11 classy"my comment sounding less rude in my head Calum just laughed.
"Where's my coffee?"Katie shouted
"Coming dear!"Calum shouted back sarcastically taking the drinks off me. We walked back over to join Dan and Katie
"So the balls off then?"I asked trying to sound as concerned as I could as I sat down putting my legs back over Dan's
"Apparently"Katie sighed taking along swig of her coffee
"Oh come on it's not a big deal"dan shrugged but all he got was a death stare from Katie "okay sorry"dan said throwing his arms up in defeat.

After Katie and Calum had left and we had locked up. The rain had cleared so I decided to brave it. With Dan's hoodie as mine was still soaked.
I skated through the park with a weird feeling in my gut to knew I shouldn't be mad at Luke for kissing another girl when we'd spoken like twice but I was, I was so mad at that beautiful blonde haired blue eyed boy.
