I was sat alone in the empty sixth form common room, wishing my mum hadn't forced me to attend school. Despite the fact my friends had ditched me, come to think of it I hadn't seen either of them since the party, since I'd woken up in my back garden with Luke and a killer hangover.

I stared down at the maths revision in front of me but nothing was going in. I ran my hands through my untidy hair and tapped my pen anxiously against the table.

"It's 56.7"a voice announced from above me making me jump. I didn't even have to look up to know exactly who it was.

"Did you not get the 'everyone's not going to turn up today' memo either?"I asked looking up from my revision, Straight into Luke's shiny blue eyes. "Or are you just here to shout out the answers to people's maths problems?"I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Ermm no I didn't get the memo...."he trailed as we both glanced around the empty common room."This is weird right?"he laughed as our gaze fell back to each other.

"Yeah it's definitely weird"I laughed glancing round again. "Look I've gotta go"I muttered checking the time on my phone. "Head of sixth wants to see me or something"I muttered quickly shoving my notepad and text book into my bag my stomach was a mixture of the unignorable feeling of butterflies Luke gave me, And the almost never leaving anxiety.

"Okay"he answered as I walked off towards the head's office.

20 minutes later after Mr. Jones had explained to me that If I didn't 'buck up my ideas' he'd have no option but to kick me out of the sixth form. But he also explained that he'd give me one more chance to re-sit maths. But if I failed it I was gone.

So I walked out of the office feeling slightly faint and extremely stressed. I looked around the common room, which was now occupied by a few people who must have come from classes.

"Hey"Luke's voice chirped from behind me. I spun round to face him a little to fast and fell into his chest.

"You waited"I mumbled as Luke helped me regain my balance.

"Yeah, are you ok? You look sort of pale"Luke remarked as I stated at him blankly. I was still feeling a little faint.

"Ermm no, I need caffeine! You coming?"I asked striding off towards the door not bothering to check if Luke had chosen to follow me or not.

Luke and I were sat in Starbucks; mainly because it was closer but also because I didn't want to set anything off with dan again. So we were sat in Starbucks. Me, with my head buried in a text book and Luke, ranting about the small things that annoyed him and stopping occasionally to help me.

This scenario was perfect until about 12:30am when half of the mums In Britain decided to turn up with their whining children. After 10 minutes of the crying, screaming and whining, I'd basically given up on humanity as I sighed in frustration and slammed my face down onto my text book which was sat on the table.

Luke chuckled at me "wanna go somewhere else..?"he asked quickly.

"Sure"I muttered not giving a second thought to what I'd just agreed to as i shoved my revision in my bag and followed Luke out the coffee shop.

"That stuff you said, the other night was the truth right?"Luke asked as I trailed slightly behind him as we walked to his house

"Y-You think I'd lie about that?"I stuttered I couldn't believe he thought I'd lie about something like that.

"No that's not what I meant"he said quickly trying to redeem himself.

"Then what did you mean?"I snapped.

"I just......-you just confuse me okay!"he retorted I the same snappy tone. We walked the rest of the way back to Luke's in silence.

Half an hour later and Luke and I were sat in his clean and very tidy living room. With Luke hopelessly trying to help me revise. The awkwardness between us after the argument before not helping at all.

The tension and eye contact between the two of us was getting almost unbearable.

"Stop it!"Luke groaned putting the text book down on to the table.

"Stop what!"I asked falling backwards on to the sofa.

"You're not paying attention! How can I help you if you don't pay attention"he moaned flopping back onto the sofa next to me. "You're so distracting" he mumbled his voice barely audible

"I thought I was confusing"I huffed crossing my arms across my waist.

"You're really fucking cute when you're stroppy"Luke giggled. He shuffled closer than tickled my side making me yelp. As I wriggled around trying to get him to stop.

Somewhere Inbetween me screaming at Luke to stop and trying to get away from him. He'd ended up on top of me.

"It's so hard not to kiss you right now" Luke mumbled. His hands on either side of me supporting himself our legs were in a tangled mess and my hair tickling his face. "Your hair is so annoying" he giggled we were still staring into each others eyes.

"Just shut up and kiss me idiot"I whispered before closing the already small gap between us. I kissed him lightly on the lips first, then deepened it. It was like that feeling they describe in movies, the fireworks the butterflies, perfection. luke trailed his tongue along my lips and I gave him access. His hands trailed down up my body to the top of my shirt. He fiddled with the buttons, I didn't stop him.

I could hear my phone buzzing I he table next to us. I knew exactly what it was a reminder to tell me I had work. Shit work!

I didn't stop though I continued to kiss Luke. I tugged on the ends of his hair. My phone continued to manically buzz on the table.

"Shit I have work" I mumbled pulling away. Only to be pulled straight back in by Luke's strong arms. "Seriously I need to go"I muttered again glancing over at the reminder flashing up on my phone. But I couldn't move as his arms where either side of me, trapping me beneath him.

"It seems you are unable to leave"Luke said raising his eyebrows.

"Move asshole"I laughed pushing him off me so he fell in the gap between the sofa and the table.

"Owwww"he whined standing up and helping me off the sofa.

"Thanks"I mumbled. I went to grab my phone off the table but I ended up head butting Luke in the chest. We both just looked up at eachother. Luke tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. "It's weird"I said looking straight up at Luke

"What?"he asked with a stupid grin on his face.

"Us, this. We argue and then.."I trailed hoping he'd get what I meant

"It's different, good different"he smiled. His deep set dimples making him look so cute.

"I really have to go"I mumbled pushing past Luke gently and picking all my text books and revision of the table. I walked away towards the door.

"Hey Mel!"Luke shouted. I turned to face him, he was now casually Laying across the sofa.

"What"I asked putting on a fake sassy tone and raising my eyebrows at him.

"Your shirt"he smiled giving me a cheeky wink.

"Bye"I huffed buttoning the top half of my shirt up. I faintly heard Luke shout goodbye as I shut the front behind me.
