I woke up the next morning feeling like shit. I'd wanted to go to the skatepark to think but the rain had stopped me. So I spent most the night listening to the rain against my window.

My mum had gone to work early so I was left to get myself ready which unusually I'd done quickly and was ready on time. I scanned through taking note my mum had left reminding me to pick my brother Tom up. I felt bad for my mum having to work late on her birthday but there was nothing I could do.

I walked to school with Katie, Calum and Katie's boyfriend Jase. I wasn't quite sure why he was there as he lived no where near us but I wasn't going to ask. Partly because I liked him and he was a nice guy but mainly because I was completely stressed out about getting our maths final exam results back.

****

I had spent most of the day worrying about my results. Now I was sitting in the back of my maths class biting my lips so hard it was bleeding and my hands shaking. We weren't getting our results back until the end of the lesson so I had to sit at the back of the class trying to pay attention.

When it did finally come to the end of the lesson the teacher handed the envelopes with are results. When he came to me he gave me a disappointed yet sympathetic look.

I was beyond screwed

I didn't want to open the envelope.

3..2........1 I ripped it open my eyes scanning across the page SHIT.

AN E A FUCKING E!

I'm screwed that's it. I needed a C and I got an E. Tragically I'd tried I'd actually tried to get a C.

I was fighting back the tears I couldn't believe I'd failed the only class I'd actually tried for. I crumpled the pice of paper in my hand.

I stormed out of class just as the bell rang. I could hear someone shouting my name behind me but I ignored then and kept walking towards the exit pushing past everyone. I walked straight across the car park and up onto the playing field. The rain hiding my tears as I slumped onto a bench pulling my knees into my chest sobbing into them.

"Damn you walk fast"Luke said sitting down next me he sounded slightly breathless. I just continued to sob into my knees.

"Hey, hey calm down"Luke whispered into my ear. He put his arm around my waist pulling me in closer. I dropped my legs so I was sobbing into Luke's shoulder.

"You just need to relax"Luke muttered his lips against my cheek. I could tell exactly where this was going but I had no intention of stopping it.

Luke's lips against mine were soft instantly making me forget about my results and the rain falling around us. Our lips moving in sync.

"You really are a class A slut"I muttered after Luke pulled away our faces still inches apart

"I do try"Luke smirked "anyway gotta go girlfriends waiting"he laughed. How could I have done that I'm completely against cheating and I'd just gone against every thing I stood for. Yet I didn't regret it at all.

"That's not funny"I muttered standing up and picking up my soaking wet bag

"Then why are you smiling?"he laughed again

"Because I can"I said smiling at him "bye Luke"I said before walking off in the direction I'd came the rain still pouring around me.

I could see Calum standing by the door I'd come out of with staring at me with a look of confusion

"What the hell was that? 1. I thought you hated him and 2. You've been seeing since year 7 that he's a jerk!"Calum asked confused. I just handed him the wet scrunched up pice of paper still in my hand. Calum unfolded the pice of paper and looked at it
