I sat staring at the whiteboard in front of me. I couldn't concentrate. My mind was spinning round and round. Exams, failing, school, Katie, Luke, Dan. The last thing I was thinking about was quadratic equations.
The bell rang, at least I think it did. I picked up my binder with my shaky hands and stumbled out of the class room into the busy corridor. I couldn't breathe the my throat was was dry, my breathing was heavy.
I could feel someone shaking me. I think they were speaking but I couldn't focus. I couldn't even focus on who was right in front of me.
"A.....irr"I finally managed gasp pushing past the two people stood in front of me heading straight
towards the nearest door. I could feel heavy tears running down my flustered cheeks.
I quickly turned left out the door and lent against the wall. I was trying so hard to control my breathing but my mind wouldn't focus. I felt like I was going to pass out. My legs were trembling. Just before I felt my knees give in. I felt two strong hands grab my waist and steadied me.
I looked straight at them, my mind trying so hard to recognise the face, those eyes, big brown sappy eyes. Calum. As soon as I realised who it was my body relaxed slightly. He wrapped his arms tightly around my body.
"Shhh, you're okay. Everything's okay"Calum whispered in my ear rubbing calming circles on my back. "You just need to breathe"
"I got some water"a voice from behind Calum announced. I couldn't bring myself to lift my head off Calum's shoulder. I sobbed violently my body still shaking. Calum pulled my face of his shoulder and cupped my cheeks with His hands.
"Stop crying, you're too pretty to cry"Calum smiled but I was still to focused on controlling my breathing to even force a smile.
"HOOD"a booming voice came from behind us "I told you this morning if you didn't come to the revision lessons there is no way you're going to pass your A levels"the voice shouted.
"I'm coming now sir"Calum muttered shyly turning to face the angry teacher.
He turned back to face me "I'm going to go but Luke's here, will you be okay?"he asked I just nodded he then turned to who I'm guessing was Luke, my vision still blurred by the tears in my eyes. "Just stay with her until she calms down" he said before walking back towards the school building.
"Do you wanna sit down?"Luke asked, I nodded slightly. He grabbed my hand lacing our fingers together and pulled me down to sit on the tarmac, leaning against the wall.
We sat for a while, our fingers still laced together, as Luke told me about his day and I tried to calm down.
When I'd eventually calmed down and drank the whole bottle of water Luke had given to me. We sat in silence until Luke turned to me and asked
"Do you want to get out of here?"
A/N; HELLO! This has taken me so long idek why I'm just lazy :/ don't like this chapter that much and it's really short :(
