Your POV
I wasn't ready to go with George, Matt, and Nathan to Cali for Mine Con. I woke up a couple hours early to pack my bags. I still can't believe George was actually making me spend my entire plane ride with Matt. What was next? Sharing a room? I could make him regret this but I don't feel like him being mad at me again.
I got up and put on my white Tommy Hilfiger crop top, navy blue Adidas joggers, and white vans. I packed a ton of bathing suits seeing as the beach was close to where we were vacationing at and I packed a bunch of the shorts and crop tops I brought to Texas with me. Making no mistake I also grabbed one of the Nike hoodies George gave to me. It was more of a dress on me but it kept me warm and that's what I needed for the plane ride. Walking downstairs I saw the time on the stove clock, 6:30 am. I guess I could go wake the guys. Matt stayed overnight and slept on the couch. Looking around I saw an air horn on the counter and quickly picked it up. Moving slightly behind Matt, I pushed the button causing the horn to screech and Matt to wake up.
"Get up and get ready for a dreadful plane ride. I'll go wake everyone else." I said, not enjoying the fact I had to talk to him.
I snuck up to Nathan's room and cracked his door. Aw he sleeps with a teddy bear. It's so adorable. I pushed the button on the air horn causing Nathan to jump up out of bed.
"What the flip!" He yelled.
"Get up we've got a flight at 8:30. It's 7:00." I said partially yelling trying not to wake George do I could wake him with an air horn.
George's POV
I heard Nathan wake up due to Y/N with an air horn. I decided to prank her a little. Before she came in my room I grabbed an air horn I had on my nightstand table. When I heard my door crack open I jumped up and blasted the airhorn.
"Ahhhhh!" Y/N yelled and I heard Matt and Nathan both clapping. "What the flip George you stole my thunder."
"No one pranks the prank master." I said laughing and pulling her hand to get her closer to me. I pulled her into a hug, forgetting I had no shirt on after sleeping.
Your POV
He smells so good. His room already smells of his cologne but him in general smelled amazing. He stroked my hair with his hand, that made me look so tiny. I pulled away from the hug and threw a black Nike tee shirt at him.
"Get dressed." We're gonna be late. I walked downstairs to grab a bite to eat before we had to leave. Nathan would ride with George in his r8 and me with Matt.
Why would he keep trying to bring Matt and myself closer together? We kissed. It was awkward. My boyfriend got mad and didn't talk to me for three days. I broke my phone. Except it had nothing to do with any of that. I was scared to hurt George again. I didn't want to have temptation to kiss Matt again. I didn't want to be alone with him at any point in time. I don't even want to be around him.
After eating we loaded up in the cars and I buckled in. Matt put on one of my old favorite songs, California Girls by Katy Perry. Ironic as we were going to California today.
I tried not to sing but it was so hard. I eventually have in. "CALIFORNIA GIRLS ARE UNDENIABLE. FINE FRESH FIERCE WE GOT IT ON LOCK!" I yelled. The wind blowing in my hair felt amazing and I felt free from Texas for the first time in forever. Free from all stress I could imagine.
Matt's POV
I know she's mad at me but all I can do is try. Try to make her not hate me. She started screaming the lyrics to one of the songs I put on I knew that she liked. Looking at her red hair blowing in the wind, she looked like she was on top of the world like all of the stress was just gone. Not that I thought she was stressing or anything.
I really appreciate George trying to help me get her back to being my friend. I just don't think it'll happen. Y/N is a good kid but she's relentless when it comes to letting people into her life. I saw it when I first me her.
'She looks so perfect.' I thought to myself. 'If only I didn't mess it up.'
Your POV
We made it to the airport and I got out of the car with my luggage and left Matt to go find George and Nathan. I saw George talking to a girl and it hurt I admit but she was probably a fan but she looked a little old for that, about eighteen or nineteen, about George's age. She was twirling her hair and laughing, flirting, I knew that move I've used  it a million and one times. I found Nathan and left my bags with him. I saw George, still talking to that girl I ran up behind him and crashed into a hug.
"Mine." I said still hugging him. He put his arm around my waist. "Hi I'm Y/N George's girlfriend and you are?"
"Jacie." The girl said. She acted like she didn't like me right off. Like she was trying to take him. I don't trust it.
"Nice to meet you Jacie but me and my boyfriend have things to go do so we aren't late for a flight." I said dragging George toward Nathan and Matt.
"What was that?" He asked confused.
"You're kidding me right?" I said. "What are you just gonna say she was a fan? It's not like I'm scared of losing you or anything of that sort. Now you're going and talking to people that obviously like you."
"She doesn't like me. She's actually going to Cali as well for Mine Con." He said seemingly nervous.
"George you're blind. I'm just ready to go get on the plane and sleep a couple hours." I said and a few minutes later, we boarded the plane. Matt, Nathan, and myself sat in one row. George, that Jacie girl, and some other dude sat behind us. For once I'm a few days I was actually happy to be next to Matt. Two could play at this game.
It hurt to hear her laughing at his stupid jokes. I was scared to lose him. He sat on the end near the isle behind me. I saw him reach his hand forward and I grabbed I to hold it. I felt him run his thumb back and forth on the top of mine giving me slight reassurance. And with that I fell asleep.

I know it's late. Don't yell at me please. I've slept all day today. I needed a break, a lazy day. I made this one a thousand + words to make up for it. I'm also thinking of a Lachlan x reader book what do y'all think? Also who is Jacie? Will there be more problems? Will you and Matt be friends again? Read on to find out. Bye guys.
