A skinny figure zombie-walks to the chaiwala. Without paying attention to the two people standing next to him, not caring even a little bit about their anger levels, order for a chai and one cigarette is promptly given. With total ignorance, the tea is taken in hand and 1 drag of the cigarette is taken. Only the the eyes of the zombie opens up. "Arrey asshole, atleast today you could have come on time", Niraj pours out his anger. "Relax my friend, no need to get all worried up" is the reply in an english accent from Tarun, the rich brat from the group.
Tarun came from a rich family. His father was a textile tycoon back in Hyderbad and his mother came from royalty. Where people would buy soap bars of local brand in the college, he used sports type body washes. People used to sport 100rs paragon slipper in the hostels and he would brag about with his woodland slippers. For the college interview's people used to buy 1 set of good looking formals from the local shop. Tarun's parents bought him three 2 -piece suits from Indian terrain for the interview's. But tarun was seemingly unhappy from this. He wanted to experience the normalcy of life, not from the point of view of someone born with a silver spoon. So when his friends opened up their idea about starting their own consultancy firm, he beamed up with joy. He was ecstatic, not only for the fact that he gets to start something from scratch, he gets to do that with his friends. He knew for a fact that a reason he is a part of this was because he was rich and he will have to shell-out a huge chunk of the initial investment, Rajesh stated that equivalent value of the company's profits will his to take. But this was not going to desist him from taking up this venture.
"So what's up guys?" Tarun poses his trademark statement. "We have to plan for our company guys. We have to plan our budget, infrastructure, team structure's and lot more." comes the reply from Rajesh. "What about our vacation trip?" is the quick reply from Tarun. "Well we can plan on that after we are through with our main agenda" Rajesh replies, eager to get his idea into motion. "But we can't skip on our vacation trip yaar. We have been planning on it since our first year in college and never acted upon it." Niraj intervenes before Tarun gets to say something. "Kinda stepped on my point there Niraj." Says Tarun with a smirk on his face. "Dekh yaar rajesh, we need to let off some steam. That way we will be much more productive and creative with the initial planning for our venture. So just two days lets go somewhere we can relax a bit." Tarun suggests. Rajesh though a bit reluctant, see's the point with Tarun. "Does Matheran appeal to you guys?" asks his friends though knowing for sure that any other place is way above their budget. "Apne range ke liye Matheran se aur koi dusra jaga parvaadne waala nahi hein"(Any other place other than Matheran won't fit our budget), is the quick sarcastic reply from Niraj. Tarun is too busy to even put his views for the vacation place. He concentrates on his cancer stick and chai. He nods along for he knows that his aim at the place is only to get drunk and sleep.
"OK guys then we will start tomorrow morning around 7'o clock. We will meet up here" is decision from Rajesh, who is kind of identified as the leader of the trio. The other two nod along and as they finish their chai and cigarette, break off to their respective homes.
