"Me, Tarun and Niraj are going to Matheran for two days" says Rajesh while parking himself in the kitchen slab, watching his mom cook their lunch. "Hai Ram, why you boys are going so far? Why can't you boys find some place nearby?" Mrs. Khuranna voices her concern. "Ma, its not very far. Plus Tarun has never been to Matheran" Rajesh assures his mother. "Just talk with your father at night. We will see what he says" Mrs. Khurana replies while flipping the chappathi. "I know what he will say, ma. He will say go and come back in one piece" Rajesh replies nonchalantly, nipping on the carrot. "Don't be so overconfident" pat is the reply from Mrs. Khuranna. " Chill Maar, ma", Rajesh 's answer fades off as he walks towards his room.
Rajesh takes out his travel bag and decides he better pack now, or he may get busy with mom's errands. Both his closet doors are opened with a considerable force and a careful screening of clothes is done. We, of course want the best of jean's and t- shirts. Who knows when a nice girl may pop up? Rajesh already had an embarrassing experience with a girl when he went for one of his dates. And adding to the misery, it was his first date ever. The lunch went very smoothly, he did not face any problems with his words. But at the end of the date, the girl dropped the bomb that he does not have any proper, trendy dressing sense and she cannot go out on any further dates. After that crushing experience, Rajesh was always at his best when he went out with his friends.
Rajesh takes out his best pair of jeans and lays them out neatly. His ever working 'Black shirt' is not missed. He always trusted this shirt. Whenever he wore this shirt, he sure did make some heads turn. 'For two days, two pairs of jeans and shirt will do just fine' runs through his mind. 'Better take the new pair of Chromozone inner. What if I get lucky' flashes through. He packs them with a wide grin in his face, thinking how long it has been since he got lucky with any girl. His classroom adventures with Andrea, his college girlfriend flashes through. 'How did they managed to sneak past the security guard, picking the lock of the classroom, having his way with her in the while muffing her and his sounds, quick glances through the crack opened window for their overly strict principle, pesky juniors' brings a tingle downstairs and the little major is woken from his slumber. Grabbing his phone from the nightstand, Rajesh makes a dash to the restroom, for the major has to put back to sleep with a rigorous drill.
Returning ten minutes later with a glow in his face and a relief in his pants, Rajesh brings himself back to the packing situation and rummages through his closet to find his remaining of stuff to packed. Half an hour later he keeps his packed bag at the side and plops himself in his living room for its time for the rerun of his favorite comedy show.
