(A/N: I realized that referencing pop culture is not a good idea in stories. I sorta hated this chapter at this point so I decided to change it with something more character development filled instead of this silly mess. Read it if you'd like.)

Wailord: Hey Ariel, can I ask you something?

Ariel: Sure.

Wailord: Will you go out with me?

Ariel: O.O

-POV Macy Grey the Minccinno

Summer. The time of complete boredom in most cases. Since we had nothing to do, Ariel, Kaleb, Percy, and I decided to hang out at our favorite place to hang out, The Spicy Kricket. The place is owned by two Kricketot brothers.) We usually loiter around and ocasionally order something there. I'm pretty sure that Kaleb already owes a lot of money to the place.

"Hey Ariel? Where were you at yesterday?" I asked.

"I was at my house," she said.

"You're always there! What? Do you live there or something?" I asked.

"Yes."

"So how's your lives been?" Kaleb asked.

"Meh. The usual," Percy said.

"What is the usual for you?" Ariel asked.

"I don't know. The usual," Percy said.

"This is the joy of our generation," Ariel said.

"Well I have a much more entertaining story for all you guys," I announced.

"Is it as dumb as this conversation?" Kaleb asked.

"Does it matter?"

"Well then, let's hear it," Kaleb said.

"Well I had an encounter with the paranormal my friends!" I said.

"No."

"Yes."

"It's back?"

"Yes."

"Why are you guys talking without explaining who is? I think the readers would like to know that you and Kaleb are talking," Ariel said.

"It's the Bidoof Spirit!" I said.

"I knew it!" Kaleb shouted.

"Whoa! Cool! I want one!" Percy said.

"No you don't. These guys are tough. They watch you everywhere you go. Every minute he's staring at me. Every single soul crushing second, I feel his eerie presence by my side!" I said.

"Oh that's cool and all, but there is no Bidoof Spirit!" Ariel shouted.

"Oh yes there is," a Kricketot said.

"Oh hey Marco. Is your brother Polo here as well?" I asked. (Marco and Polo are the brothers that own the resteraunt.)

"Polo is in Fiji! The Bidoof Spirit is real. I have had an encounter with one long ago," Marco stated.

"What?! You gotta tell me. I love horror, action, death!" I shouted.

"Fine. But only once must I say the dreadful tale! Many years ago when I was just a little Kricketot, my friends decided to go out ghost hunting in my grandparents atic. I agreed, but knew something was wrong. When we went in, the hatch door shut all by itself! Our flashlights stopped working! An eerie draft swept in. We were so terrified that we jumped out the window to the ground. I was last to go. Just before I lept down, I saw a ghostly figure behind me. Once I hit the ground, the figure had vanished," Marco said.
