S1 Ep. 12 Observatory

-POV: Macy

    So I'm not you're average rebel girl who hates school. I'm just lazy. Procrastination is like my life. For science, the entire ninth grade class was to go out to an observatory to study the stars and whatever. There were two nights planned. Last Friday was when all the smart and motivated kids went. The good ones who knew it was wrong to wait for last minute. This Friday is the night where the lazy and rebel kids come after their parents called them out for not going last Friday. You see I wanted to go, but I was busy playing video games with Scarlet. Man, Ariel is gonna flip out. She actually had to miss the first Friday because Percy and Kaleb dragged her into some mess. So the entire crew is gonna be there! Sweet! Except for Lizzie, who oddly was the only one of us to go to the first night.

    Sweet! Kaleb said he's gonna give us rides. Nice.

    (Other Person: Um. He's only in ninth grade. That means he only has a permit and must have an adult in the car.) Shut up person. Since when has Kaleb followed the rules.

    He has arrived! Everyone else was in the car. I hopped on in.

    "Hey Ariel, I didn't think that you'd have to guts to ride with an illegal driver," Kaleb said.

    "My parents said that they wouldn't take me and told me that I should have gone the first week," she responded.

    "Well that's nice. I'll try not to drive to reckless. Wouldn't want to get caught," Kaleb said.

    "You just ran past a stop sign," Ariel said.

    "The government can't tell me what to do," Kaleb said. Soon enough, we heard the sounds of sirens. We immediatly pulled over as the officer came to the window. (P.S: It's a Magnemite. Oh my glob robo-cop is a thing now!)

    "License please!" the officer yelled.

    "Oh sure," Kaleb calmly said. I could see Percy was having a nervous breakdown in the back seat. (I got to ride up front!) Ariel was mad and Scarlet had no reaction at all. Kaleb held up literally nothing. At least he pretended to be holding a license.

    "Where is it!?"

    "Oh this is just a new clear style license that they just started putting out," Kaleb said.

    "Really? Well ok then. See you around," the officer said as he left. (Magnemites don't tend to think through that much.) We continued on our way.

    "No more running stop signs or I'm gonna throw you under the bus next time!" Ariel snapped.

    "Fine. Now there's a fork in the road. Left or right?" Kaleb asked.

    "Right! It's the right way," Percy mentioned.

    "Ok I'm going left," Kaleb said. And so we did.

-1 HOUR LATER-

    "We're here!" I shouted. We pulled up into the gravel parking lot to ask one of the owners.

    "Hey is this the New Dice observatory?" Kaleb asked.   

    "Oh no this is the Dice New obervatory," the owner said.

    "Say what?"

    "You know that fork in the road about an hour back. Go there and turn right instead. Safe travels," the owner said. We pulled out.

    "WHAT KIND OF ####### IDIOT WOULD BUILD TWO OBSERVATORIES TWO HOURS APART FROM EACH OTHER!!!" Kaleb raged.

    "Whoa man. Too many hashtags," Percy said. (Fourth Wall break.)
