Usually my mind's all over the place because I'm so bored here but today my mind's on one thing. It's that girl I saw yesterday.
Yes, I know it's silly of me. I don't even know her and chances are she wouldn't even take a second glance at me.
She was so different from everyone else her. She wore a smile on her face. She had bright red lips and perfectly curled blonde hair.
Not to mention the outfit she was wearing. Yes, it was much like other women's outfits here but it suited her the best.
The pencil skirt hugged her hips in all the right places. The blouse she wore showed a perfect amount of chest.
This is wrong. I should focus on my work.
I begin to shuffle through the big stacks of papers and about half way through I find myself trying to find a way to use the elevator. If I use the elevator there's a bigger chance of seeing her.
She got off of the elevator about two or three floors below me so there's no way I'm gonna see her up here.
I have no clue why I'm obsessed with her. Well I wouldn't say I'm obsessed I guess I'm just intrigued.
I still regret not saying anything to her yesterday so that gives me a reason to try and see her right?
I finally found something that needed copied and a smile fell on my face.
I walk a hell of a lot quicker than usual to the elevator. "Where you going all excited?" Angela ask as I press the elevator button. "Oh I uh have to go make some copies." I say glancing down at the papers in my hand.
"I swear this place is making you crazy." She says shaking her head. She's not wrong.
I step into the elevator and press the floor two floors down from us. That's where the copier is and that's where she is.
As the elevator opens I take a big breath and I immediately begin to look for her. God, I'm so weird. Why am I doing this? It's not like I'm gonna have the courage to talk to her anyway.
I head straight for the copying room since I still can't find her. Maybe she's in here.
I make it to the copying room and there she is. Leaned up against one of the copiers in a similar outfit to what she wore yesterday.
She now has pink lips instead of red but she wears the same smile on her face as she talks to a couple of guys.
A part of me dies thinking that someone else might get her before me but I expected that.
I realize I'm staring and I snap my head down towards my paper and make my way to the copier.
I can feel myself sweating because of how nervous I am. I came down here to talk to her and I'm not even doing that. I'm such an idiot.
Once I'm done making copies I look over my shoulder towards her direction to see her by herself now. This is my chance.
I stay still. I don't move. I'm too scared that she'll laugh in my face.
She grabs her papers and sends a smile my since she saw me looking and she walks out.
My body immediately relaxes and I become irritated. Irritated with myself. "Fuck." I mutter into the empty copying room.
