I take in a deep breath as I swing my car door open. I'm in the parking lot of Katie's apartment complex at 7 just like she asked.
I hope she doesn't mind my outfit. I wasn't quite sure of what to wear so I went with basic jeans and a nice sweater.
As I make it into the apartment complex I try and remember how to get to her place the best I can.
I finally got there after a little struggle but I knock on the door. Not even 30 seconds later the door swings open and the sight makes my chest tighten.
"Wow you look amazing." I say taking in her loose sweater and leggings. Her hair was straight and she had in minimal makeup. She looked phenomenal.
"Thanks." She says shyly moving to the side so I can walk in.
"I actually have it all done." She says motioning towards the kitchen. I smile at her a bit as she begins to lead the way.
I follow behind her timidly mainly because I don't want to come off too strong and scare her off.
She pulls out a chair at a small table and I sit in the other one.
Spaghetti sits out in front of us and it smells amazing. I smile down at it as I go to pick up my fork.
"How was your week?" She ask Breaking the silence. "Slow." I chuckle taking a bite.
"This is great Katie." Her cheeks heat up and she looks down at her plate. I smile to myself for making her blush.
We fall silent again and we begin to eat and mess with our food.
"What did you think of me when you first saw me?" She blurts. I chuckle at her question. "You're not gonna believe me." I say glancing up at her. "Try me." She grins.
"Well, I thought you were stunning. I've never saw a girl so beautiful." I admit and now she's really blushing. "I love it when you blush." I blurt. "Stop." She chuckles placing her hands on her red cheeks. I chuckle.
"So what'd you think of me?" I ask now curious. "You were intimidating." I'm shocked by this answer. "What?" I ask with a shocked laughter. "I don't know. There's just something about you that is just so intimidating. Maybe it's your perfect looks." She says scrunching her eyes up a bit. Now it's my turn to blush.
"Look who's blushing now." She chuckles. I roll my eyes and continue with my food.
"So do you have any family?" She ask trying to keep the conversation going. "Yeah but I'm not very close with them." I admit.
"Why not?" She ask tilting her head to the side. "Well my twin brother and I had a huge fight a couple years ago so I kinda stay away from everything." I ramble.
"Wait! Did you just say twin?" She ask with wide eyes. I chuckle and nod my head yes. "So there's two of you?" "Yes." I confirm.
"Do you miss him?" She ask. I sigh a little. I've never really thought of it. "Yeah I do." I admit.
"Maybe you should go see him." She brings up the idea. "I don't think he has time for that. He has a business to run." I say taking a bite.
"What business?" She furrows her eyebrows, now wanting to know about everything. "Dolan Enterprises." I say plainly. Her eyes widen.
"Wow." I just agree. Soon we're interrupted by a loud knock on the door. She looks at me worriedly but gets up to answer the door anyway.
After she gets up she doesn't come back so I decide to go check and make sure everything's okay.
"Is everything okay?" I ask and right after I ask I know it's not.
