"What's he doing here?" Brad ask looking me up and down. Katie lets out a sigh. "We were having dinner Brad."
My eyes don't leave brad. I'm watching everything he does extra close. He makes one bad mood and I'm gonna be quick to set him straight.
"So you've already moved on?" He says raising an eyebrow at Katie. "You didn't care for me anyways so why does it matter?" She ask now just about as fed up as me. Or maybe more fed up.
"It matters that you're a little whore and moving from one guy to the next and I come to get some things that I forgot and I see this." He says getting closer to Katie and making his way into the apartment, motioning towards me.
That's it. I uproot myself from my one position and close in on him. I grab him by his collar and throw him up against the wall as hard as I can. "Ethan!" Katie shouts behind me but I don't care.
"You don't talk to her like that." I say through clenched teeth. "So you're protecting your girlfriend now?" He mocks.
"He's not my boyfriend brad." Katie shouts now trying to calm things down. "Ethan leave him alone. I'm sure he was just leaving." She says placing her hand on my shoulder.
I soften up a bit under her touch but I keep my grip on his collar. "Don't you dare come back to bother her either or so help me god." I say giving him a warning.
He scoffs as I finally let him go. "Hope you're happy with this guy." He says. Katie rolls her eyes and goes to close the door.
"I'm so sorry. I thought he'd be long gone by now." She says after she closes the door. "Oh no it's fine. I was done with dinner anyway." I say trying to make the situation lighter.
"Why'd you do that?" She ask referring to me getting angry. "I just don't like the way he talked to you. It wasn't right." I say scratching the back of my neck.
"Well thank you." She says looking down at the ground.
"How about I take you out on a real date. Somewhere where he can't intrude." I chuckle. She giggles. "I'd love that."
