Wednesday
I BLUSHED WHEN I sent the text to Zac asking to come over. I looked over at Natalie with disbelief on my face, "I can't believe I just did that."
Natalie smirked and clapped her hands in excitement, she squealed, "Yay! You did it!"
I stared at my blank phone screen for about a few minutes before I was snapped back to reality by Natalie, "Earth to Gwen! Hello? Are you here?"
"Huh? Uh- ya." I answered with the thoughts of Zac still not completely erased from my mind.
Natalie gasped and gave me a smug look and crossed her arms, "Do you perhaps have affection for the Zac Brown?" She asked in disbelief.
"Uh- no! No I don't!" I insisted shaking my head blushing madly.
"You do don't you?!" She smiled making me blush more.
"Ok! I think it's time for you to go!" I pushed her out of my room and pushed her out the front door.
"Make sure to wear something hot for him!" She yelled before I shut the door on her face. I leaned on the door and sunk to the ground. I took my time calming down my heated face.
When I calmed down I looked down at my phone, my eyes widened when I saw that Zac will be heading over in 10 minutes.
I stared to freak out and I rushed upstairs to change and clean up my room a little bit.
I changed from baggy sweats and a baggy hoodie, to jeans and a comfortable hoodie. I cleaned up the shirts and pants and some undergarments from the floor.
I finally heard a knock from the front door, I looked in my mirror and fixed myself up and I went downstairs. I opened the door up and my smile brightened when I saw Zac standing there.
"Hi." I said breathlessly.
"Hi." He gave me a small smirk and can win when I moved out of the way. "How's your essay doing?" I asked closing the door.
I couldn't help but stare at his back muscles and blush seeing on how muscly he really is. I gulped down my thoughts about him and focused on his answer.
"It's doing ok, I guess. I could use some help on describing things, and good describing words too. But that's it really." He said looking through my fridge.
"Ya, I could help you with that." I said as he turned around, I couldn't help myself but stare at his chocolate eyes and swoon a tiny bit.
He nodded taking a drink of a water bottle, "So, where should we work at?" He asked separating the bottle from his lips.
"Anywhere you want to." I smiled never looking away from him. His searched my eyes making my cheeks change to a light pink. He nodded, grabbed his bag and headed for my room.
My eyes widened as I saw that he wanted to work in my room. I ran up after him and scurried behind him acting cool, I was panicking slightly because I was feeling nervous if I let a shirt or two on the ground.
Zac grabbed the handle and swung the door open, he then threw himself on my bed that I didn't bother making. I never make my bed, it's way better when it's messy. "I love your bed." He muttered wrapping himself in my blankets.
"Uh- thanks." I walked to my desk and grabbed my laptop, brought it to my bed and opened up my document as I sat next to Zac.
"So, what do you need help with?" I asked never looking away from my computer on my lap.
I heard Zac scoff, "I told you already, I don't want to explain it again." he complained.
"Oh! Ya, um, sorry.." I nervously scratched my arm remembering what Zac told me what he needed help with.
"Ok, bring out your laptop and I'll look through it and see what needs to be fixed." I said, he nodded and started unpacking his computer.
Once it was out, he unlocked the thing and opened up his document and handed it to me. I mumbled a thank you to him and started reading the few paragraphs Zac had.
When I was done reading it, I was almost at the brink of tears. "Zac," I started off, my voice barely above a whisper, he looked over to me and I looked at him with my eyes wide, "y-you can't give turn it in like this! It's too sad..." I tailed off looking at the very descriptive words he used.
"Why not?" He scoffed, I was about to open up my mouth and reply to him, but he interrupted me, "The teacher asked for an essay about my last 4 yeas of high school, and he got it." he started licking at his shirt and flicked something off when he got something off of it. He turned to me with a sad look in his eyes making mine sadden more.
Zac was still laying on his stomach so I had to look down at him, I placed the laptop on my other side and I leaned down and placed my head on his back resting my head here.
"What are you doing?" I heard him ask.
"I'm comforting you," I sighed out.
"By laying down on me?" He asked in disbelief. I let out a little laugh and nodded.
I felt Zac move and I felt that he was rotating around so I was laying on his stomach. I felt his slow breathing as I moved up and down.
I turned to my side and I looked at him, he was looking up at my ceiling and so I saw his throat, and the bottom of his chin. I feel like he saw my gaze on him because he looked down at me.
"What?" He asked giving me a confused look.
"Nothing." I smiled, I scooted upwards so that I was laying on his chest.
I moved my hand to his cheek and I gazed into his dark pupils, and he gazed into my light ones. "I'll make that senior essay change." I promised him.
He raised an eyebrow, "Ya?" I nodded giving him another smile.
"Ya, I will." I confirmed, I dropped my hand from his cheek and closed my eyes feeling my body drifting up into sleep.
