ZAC'S POV
HOLDING GWEN'S HAND while walking down the street.
It's been a few days since I've asked her to be my girlfriend, and we've been spending every single day together.
"So, how about that date?" Gwen asked me smirking.
I rolled my eyes, I asked Gwen on a date yesterday. She asked me today where we were going for it, but I said it was a surprise. She's hasn't stopped nagging at me about it.
"I'm not telling you," I sassed at her. She giggled at my actions and rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, yeah. It'll slip out sometime."
I chuckled at her and stopped in my tracks when I saw that we were now at the park. The park that I saw the swans at, the park where I climbed the tree.
I smiled at the stupid memory of James and Natalie having sex. Shivers ran down my back in disgust.
For the past few days they've been talking about them, and making out at random times. Also locking themselves in the janitors closet to many times.
Let's just say that they're not friends, but they're also not a couple.
I sat down on a swing and slipped my hand out of Gwen's hand, missing her soft, warm skin immediately.
I started swinging back and forth nonchalant, Gwen copying my actions.
"Do you think that Natalie and James will ever be a couple?" I blurted.
Gwen let out an un-lady like snort and smirk. "Well, I know Natalie. And she's known for falling in love with people easily." She shrugged, "Who knows, maybe James with get feelings for her and he'll confess."
I frowned, I wouldn't mind the two being a couple. But from the stories I've heard from Gwen, Natalie is a huge drama queen. She'll make big deals out of small shit, and I will be angry if she drags me and Gwen into it.
"I just don't want her to hurt James, and I also don't want to get dragged into her shit." I said looking up at the sky. It was sunny, bright and hot.
"Same, but she's my best friend. I don't want to leave her." She sighed, "Just... if it really does happen, then you'll be there for James, and I'll be there for Natalie, Okay?"
I smirked at her. "I like it when you make deals." I stood up from the swing.
She raised an eyebrow at me and blushed. "Really?" I nodded.
She stood up from the swing too and walked over to me with a smile, "Think it's hot?" She asked again, linking her fingers around my neck.
"Mmhm," I hummed, my fingers lingering on her hips. Resisting the want to slip them under her shirt.
Gwen leaned into my ear and whispered in a low, seductive voice. "Easy Fuck Boy..."
I smirked, "What did you just call me?"
Gwen pulled away from me smirking. She then walked away from me headed to the swings, swaying her hips in the process.

"You're such a tease you know that?" I informed Gwen walking back to the car.
"I've been told." She smiled.
I jumped in my truck and started up the car, turning on the AC, feeling hot from the humid weather.
"Where to?" I asked her.
Her happy aroma immediate vanquished in the air, and the air became tense and sad.
Gwen gulped and looked at me with a deep frown, "To the hospital..." she muttered out.
I frowned along with her, I nodded and grabbed her hand. Knowing she needed comfort in the journey to see her father. I didn't say anything, even though I never had good parenting in my eighteen years I was alive, I understood her.
I was her boyfriend, and I knew I should be the very last person in the earth to push her into answering my questions.

Short chapter, I know and I'm sorry about that. I haven't had a lot of ideas for my upcoming chapters for my other books, but hold tight. I do have them halfway done, I just need to really try and I think I might change some concepts in my other stories.
Thanks for understanding and reading, and thank you again for 45k I love you guys!
