ZAC'S POV

Wednesday

I LOOKED DOWN at Gwen that was sleeping, trying to fight the smile that was growing on my face. I don't know what was wrong with me, but ever since she hugged me, I've been getting tingles every time I touch her, or she touches me.

I always find myself trying to fight a smile when she smiles at me, touches me in any way, when she looks in my eyes, even when I see her. I always try to fight a smile off my face. If I can't I replace it with a smirk, grin, or scoff. I'm not ready to smile just yet.

Through my thinking session, I realized hat I never looked away from the beautiful girl that was sleeping on my chest. She was wearing jeans and a 'The Cab' sweatshirt on. I couldn't help but trail my eyes down her body.

I tried my best to stop myself from going further and further down her body, but I couldn't help it. Her curves, her perfect legs, eyes, soft hair, her soft skin, and lips. Everything about her is perfect.

My breathing ragged when I landed back on her lips. I finally turned away looking anywhere but her. Knowing that I wouldn't be able to hold myself if I looked at her again. I calmed my breathing down, but my thoughts couldn't.

"You ok Zac?" I heard her mumble, I froze in my spot and tensed up.

"Uh- ya, I'm fine just go back to sleep." I muttered giving her a reassuring look. She yawned and nodded closing her beautiful blue eyes again, and getting comfortable.

I don't think she realizes that she's sleeping on my chest. I thought in my head.

After a few seconds my head got uncomfortable so I reached for a pillow and placed it under my head to relax. "Zac, stop moving." I heard Gwen mumbled, I looked down and I saw that her eyes were still closed, and she looked sound asleep. I brushed it off and listened to her and stopped moving.

It took me awhile for me to fall asleep, but when I finally did I was about to go in a nice sleep, but that was interrupted when I heard a whimper coming from Gwen. I raised a questioning eyebrow. I waited for a few seconds to see if she was going to make the sound again, she didn't, so I closed my eyes again. And I finally got my sleep.

I was awoken yet again by Gwen moving around on my body, it felt like a rolling pin was moving around and flattening me out.

I was going to ignore it and head back to sleep, but another whimper was heard from Gwen, I rose up from my position to finally see what was wrong with Gwen.

My eyes widened when I saw the state she was in.

Gwen was covered in sweat, whimpers were coming out of her mouth, and tears were streaming down her cheeks.

I went to touch her but she moved away, "Gwen," I started out, I grabbed her waste and brought her to my lap. "Gwen wake up,"

I started shaking her telling her to wake up, her whimpers were getting a little louder and we're almost turning into screams.

"Hey, Gwen wake u-" I was interrupted by Gwen yelling out.

"No! Let go!" She was struggling against my hold, pushing, kicking, almost punching. But nothing was the effective, it was only getting difficult to hold her down and wake her up.

I took hold of her wrist and got in top of her, "Gwen, wake the hell up!" I yelled. I was getting annoyed and angry and I didn't know what to do. I wanted to slap her to wake her up, but I didn't want to hurt her. I was thinking of kissing her, but that'll just be awkward.

I just stuck with yelling her name over her scream, "Gwen!" Instead in holding her wrist I touched her face. It was hot, and wet from the sweat and tears.

Her hands went to my chest and tried to push me off, but I'd didn't let her; she had to be woken up.

I took her small fragile frame, and I hugged her. I wrapped my strong arms around her and held her tight like the world was ending. I rubbed her back smoothly and started mumbling calming things to her like;

"It's okay,"

"Calm down, it was only a nightmare,"

"It's ok, I'm here,"

"Wake up Sunshine,"

"Shh,"

With those calm words and rocking her back and forth, Gwen calmed down, I felt her flinch and let out a yelp, she then wrapped her arms around my neck and hugged me tightly.

"Welcome back Sunshine." I mumbled against her hair, I felt her nod.

"Th-Thank you," she thanked starting to shake rapidly.

"Hey, hey, it's ok, it was only a dream. It's gone now." She let out a whimper and started shaking more.

"I-I can't get them out of my head," she confessed.

I rolled my eyes, "Then make them go away." I heard her let out a little giggle.

"It's not that simple,"

"Then make it simple." I heard her scoff and I could tell she was rolling her eyes.

"Such a smart ass," I smirked trying not to chuckle in front of her.

"Thank you." I said cockily. I broke the hug and took this time to look at Gwen, I whipped all of the sweat from her face with my coat. "You ok?" I asked after a few seconds on silence.

She looked down at her lap and nodded, "Ya," she sighed. "I'm fine, thanks again."

I started packing up and getting ready to go, "Are you ok if I leave?" I asked putting my shoes on.

Gwen looked up from her lap and her eyes widened, "Uh..." she thought about it for a while. "Ya, I'm ok being alone." She answered.

I nodded leaving her room and headed downstairs, I started my car and drove out of her driveway and headed back home.

I dropped all of my crap on the floor and collapsed on my bed, my parents were out for the night which is good because then I could actually get some good sleep, and maybe some dinner.

I felt my body drift into sleep, but my eyes were wide open when I felt my phone rumble in my butt pocket, I got it out and I saw the ID; Ball of Sunshine, I answered it and waited for Gwen to say what she needed to say.

"Yes?" I asked trying to fight the annoyance in my voice.

"On second thought," she started out, "I don't think I'm ok being alone." She finished, I couldn't help it, I let out a chuckle and shook my head.

"Ok, I'm coming over Sunshine." I stated and I slipped my shoes back on and walked out of my room to go and comfort Gwen again.
