Chapter 1 - The Royal Ball

Hi, and welcome! This is the first book I plan on keeping up for all of you to read! I'm sure everyone who clicked on this book knows about the Mario series, so I won't go into detail on that.

The Mushroom Kingdom: a fair lush land where all thrived freely. The kingdom was home to many Toads, and the princess herself, Peach.
But, a known icon also resided within the land, a short Italian man, who went by the name of Mario.

Mario was known for his fearless acts to keep the princess safe from villains. Like most places, the land had its bad apples, some being more notable then others.

Speaking of villains, one practical foe resided in a large castle, surrounded by a moat of scorching hot lava. The grounds were dry and cracked, while the sky was a hellish shade of red...

Anyone who stumbled across this area was sure to be punished. Luckily, that didn't happen often. Most knew not to visit this castle, for it belonged to non other then King Bowser himself. A known enemy to the Mushroom Kingdom. He was ruthless, and doesn't mind stooping low to get something he desires... that something - or rather someone, was the beloved Princess Peach.

Such a fearsome beast would seem to scare all forms of company away. But,
Bowser didn't reside on his own, he shared his living space with his very own son, and 7 other devious Koopa Kids.

Ludwig, Lemmy, Roy, Morton, Wendy, Iggy, and Larry were their names. As imagined, these 7 could be quite rambunctious with their constant antics, and were well-known all around the Mushroom Kingdom as Bowser's evil minions.

Aside from aiding Bowser when kidnapping Princess Peach, the Koopalings had things they enjoyed doing on their downtime just like the next person. For most... that would be rather difficult to believe within itself.
But it was in fact true! Each Koopaling had a unique personality.

Inside the bedroom of a particular Koopa, is where she was currently thinking up evil deeds for the night soon to come...

"His dark hair and mustache, his breath taking blue eyes, his loyalty to his friends, he's everything I could ever want in a man!" There she was again, fonding over her forbidden love...

Wendy O. Koopa couldn't help herself, even if the object of her affection was one of the Mario Brothers, she wouldn't mask her feelings any longer. The shy green plumber would be attending a royal ball in Sarasaland, alongside the ruler of the land itself, Princess Daisy.

The feisty brunette girl was brave, and very loyal to her people... "Not only that... she's also really pretty..." Wendy mumbled to herself, tossing around restlessly in her queen sized bed.

Throwing the covers over herself, Wendy's blue eyes wandered across her bedroom's mostly pink layout. "He'll forget about his princess the moment he sees me step onto the dance floor!"

Wendy got out of bed, acting out the scenario that played in her head. "He'll take my hand, and together, we'll make our to the dance floor!"

Looking into his ocean blue eyes, I could see the passion he held in his heart for me. Perhaps he favored me more over his beloved princess! He and I will make off to a realm only we know, where no can get in the way of our romance~!

All caught up in her sweet fantasy, Wendy didn't even realize their was a pair of eyes watching her.

"Hey sis, watcha' up to?" Hearing this familiar voice, Wendy straightened her posture, acting as if she wasn't doing anything. "N-nothing! ...why are you even in my room?" She asked, regaining her composure. She eyed her brother and his tall sky blue hair, as he casually made his way into her bedroom.
