"What am I going to do...? Bowser's going to kill me!" Letting out a breathy sigh in attempt to relax, the blue-haired Koopaling still couldn't bring himself to calm down after Lemmy's disappearance. "If I hadn't said all those things, this wouldn't be happening..." The cold breeze blew through the open window, sending cool chills down his spine. It was safe to assume Ludwig was imaging the worst possible scenario for how this would end. How in the world was he suppose to know where his younger brother ran off to? This situation screamed trouble.

Feeling defeat wash over him, Ludwig bowed his head down, feeling a bit nauseous. He only got like this when he was nervous, this clearly being one of those instances.

"Okay, okay... calm down, Ludwig... Lemmy is going to be fine..." He whispered to himself reassuringly, doing this seemed to successfully calm him down a bit. Sighing with temporary relief, Ludwig soon began thinking up a plan, weighing the pros and cons of each idea he calculated.

The longer he thought, the more obscure his ideas became. Growing annoyed with his own frantic thoughts, Ludwig forced himself to come to a realization... "As much as I hate to admit it... this is something I can't do on my own..." Balling his fist up, the Koopaling grew angry at the very idea of asking for any form of help. His siblings would never let him live it down. Not unless... he made a deal...

"I have no choice," He said, his eyes wandering to the open doorway, leading into the castles halls...

°°°

Creeping down the castles torch-lit halls, Ludwig could be seen tip-toeing his way through the area; that is, if you managed to lay eyes on him. The Koopaling was rather stealthy, due to knowing the risks of being caught.
Bowser would have my head... He thought, this only urged him to stay as quiet as possible...

Luckily, Ludwig made it to where he was heading, without being spotted by any of his nosy siblings. Letting out a relieved sigh, Ludwig dropped his, stealthy posture for a moment, as he slowly opened the door to a particularly important room...

The creaking of the door made Ludwig cringe. He was finally able to release his held in breath once he cracked the door, wide enough so he'd be able to slip right through.
Closing the door behind him quietly, his eyes scanned his new surrounding area, carefully eyeing every square inch.

Toys were laying on the floor, while pictures of the Mario Bros. hung on the wall, He exed out Mario and Luigi's eyes... Ludwig thought, his attention briefly caught on the picture. A bed was off to the side of the room, with a short nightstand being right beside it. The room's layout was rather... kiddy, from it's brightly painted walls, to the stickers placed randomly throughout the room.

No matter... I just need to make sure I don't get caught... With that thought in Ludwig's head, he focused back on his current task. His eyes stayed fixed on the bed, as he closed in; in mere seconds. Now for the hard part...

But... before Ludwig could act any further, the small figure under the covers began shifting around in their sleep. Crap! The blue-haired Koopaling cursed at himself in his head, as a multitude of thoughts rushed through his mind.

It's too late to back out...
Almost too soon, the youngster's eyes darted open, landing on Ludwig's shadowy figure almost immediately.
Ludwig almost felt his heart stop...

"!" Before the stunned figure could even get a word out, Ludwig placed his hand over their mouth, making sure to keep them quiet. The smaller figure struggled under the blue-haired Koopaling frantically, before finally realizing there was nothing that could be done.
