They told me I had a choice
Better late than never
Better buy and sell its
Better to love and lose
It's better they lied i swear
I'd rather have never known
The love that I had given was love that wasn't my own
I hate it like it tastes bitter
I'm aching for the acquitted
But sinning is looking better than finding this hidden treasure
I'm convinced there's no happy
No finally free for me
Just tatted it on my skin
With no idea what it means
To be free
Is it to what ever you desire?
Or to do without regret no matter what transpires?
Or is it being free to live for someone else
Living for bigger purpose
Not living for your self
I'm pretty sure it's the ladder
But sometimes that feels like chains
I know that you'll never leave me
Just teach me to be okay.

ŞiirI love NoNameGypsy and Jackie Hill Perry. Poetic style with the slight peppering of innocence giving it that flavor I don't hear much. These poems are inspired by them. Love y'all.
