But if I did would you keep em
I never write down my feelings

Would you betray sacred trust
If I revealed all my lust
and let the darkness shine bright
Daydreams and fairy dust
You probably would combust
If you knew what's in my head
So I be quiet write it down and savor it all instead
You put the muse in my music
You fill the cup with the dregs
You play the record I scratched
You put the pep in my step
You create for the creator creations creatures are scared
When we conjoin in creativity creation prevails
Ooh
And if you never knew
That I was just a dust bunny
Made from dirt just like you
And if you ever saw the things that float around
I have no doubt in my mind
That you would hold me down
Cuz
If you ever see my faults
You'll love me anyway
Even when all has passed away
Even in the long run
You'd stay
