I'm getting dizzy from the similes you throw
Forever is a metaphor
For what we assume is eternity
But humanity can only last for a minute
I'm sinning it's sickening it's ridiculous
For thoughts that I'm thinking
Now the words never spilling from my body is a given
And the people get too high to hit a ceiling
I'm tippy toe up on glass floors
For rainbow colored sweaters
Sweating swelter is forever
I never knew it could be better
Now or never
I know I made you too special
Thought we were in it together
But friends come and they go
I'm learning to let them go
On glass floors
You can see the reflection not the inside
Hopping over cracks because you like what you see
Until the reflection in the mirror starts double crossing me
And I can't get away on my feet
I gotta swim too deep

PoetryI love NoNameGypsy and Jackie Hill Perry. Poetic style with the slight peppering of innocence giving it that flavor I don't hear much. These poems are inspired by them. Love y'all.
