A/N: Hey there :3 It's been for some time now. I miss you guys so much and miss writing on wattpad too because I had my end of course tests. A chapter dedicated for Jikook shippers and also Chanbaek shippers (they're so cute, big pup and smol pup *squeals in ultimate jubilance*)

The crisp sound of flipping pages and the only light source illuminating Jimin's flat room is his laptop screen. His fingers swiftly dance on the keyboards, landing lightly on them creating subtle noises. The clock hits ten coldly, nearly midnight but that doesn't stop Jimin from doing his work. Once he puts his mind into something, he'll definitely finishes with all his might.

His fingers still dancing on the keyboard and his eyes scanning the paper professionally, not wanting to miss any of the details Jungkook might ask him tomorrow. Though hateful the cop can be towards him, Jimin doesn't care and it's the case that he's worrying sick about. He has done a few researches to understand specialized words relating to specific subjects such as medicine. Additionally, having his best friend is a boss of a bar means that Jimin is more than helpful to Jungkook. Although he isn't a policeman and he doesn't work in the station, he still cares about innocent lives being taken. You'll never know when is your last time seeing them so the thing Jimin scares of is that the victim has kids and a wife, desperately waiting for him to return while him, a withered corpse lying lifelessly on the beds of the analysis room.

Deciding it was enough work for today, Jimin slightly stretches and drinks his water down all in one gulp. All this work is making him crazy and he's wondering why doesn't Jungkook get tired of all the workload. Plus, he sometimes tackles late night shifts according to one of the colleagues walking past him while he was waiting for the documents to help him portray the skeletons of the storyline. He ruffles his pinkish hair and thinks about his first day working with that cocky bunny boy, which is tomorrow and apparently, they won't be working until it's late since at that time the bar will be fully displayed to the residents according to Jungkook. However, in the morning, Jungkook will keep him accompanied by joining for coffee and take a look at the place he's staying temporarily, which is (unfortunately) Jimin's place.

Gazing at the clock slowly ticking its way to midnight, Jimin silently counts fluffy sheeps jumping over fences in his dreams and drifts off to slumber not long after with his mind lingering the blurry image of a cop with his signature bunny smile.

"One caramel macchiato, please." Jungkook tilts his head up to see Baekhyun silently punching numbers in the cash machine while glancing slightly at the crimson door. His average figure and his auburn hair seems to glimmer while bathing in the soft daylight overflowing the coffee and donuts shop.

"Four dollars but.." Baekhyun trails off and gives Jungkook a cheeky smile. "I'll have it three dollars only for your medium size."

Jungkook eye's sparkle with happiness. "Woah hyung, a discount? Thanks"

"No problem, kiddo. Have a seat. No need to use your legs while they've already invented something for you to rest your bum on."

Jungkook smiles and his eyes fix on Baekyun making his coffee while humming a various tone. The earthy smell of brewed ground coffee wafts across his nose and he listens to the metal clicks of the cups and coffee brewers clang into each other, adding a crispy cool touch to a fresh morning.

"You seem happy today, hyung." Jungkook traces circles on the counter, leaning his fit body forward.

"I'm happy everyday Kook-sshi." Baekhyun glances from the corner of his eyes since he's pretty occupied with making coffee. He watches in awe as his hyung steams the milk in the small metal pitcher using the wand of the machine while the aromatic espresso shots are pulling.

Jungkook blinks a few times, realizes his hyung is right after all. "Um... Happy.. er?"

Baekhyun smiles lightly and put the small crystal cup of macchiato in front of Jungkook. He dusts a bit of coffee powder and drizzles golden-ish caramel syrup on top of the fluffy milky surface.

"Well.. Chanyeol visited me yesterday." Jungkook raises his eyebrows while sipping the macchiato, listening to his hyung's story with undoubted interest on his face. "He stopped by to give me a box of spicy chicken for our midnight snack and... some flowers."

"Flowers?" Jungkook puts down the cup, leaving a small blot of milk foam on his upper lip which makes him look more bunny-like. "He actually gave you flowers?"

Baekhyun nods cutely and points to a lovely vase of pastel-colored roses shining beautifully in the sunlight, decorated with a pink bow and a tag on which is a writing: "To my Baekhyunnie <3"

"He clearly is into you." Jungkook continues sipping his macchiato. "It's evident, right before your eyes."

"You think so?" Baekhyung goes to where the flower vase is and sprays water on the roses. They gladly shower in the cool sensation the male offers while bathing in the warmth of the sun. "He has like... a swarm of girls after him so... Why me?"

"Hyung... kissing a natural face is much better than kissing one all caked in make-up." Jungkook licks his upper lip after noticing the blot of milk foam was there a while ago. "I kissed one before, tasted like foundation, so thick like the "fake bitches" mask they're wearing."

"Sarcastic." Baekhyun shyly compliments while thinking of the moment if Chanyeol actually kiss him. "But anyways, he has much better choices. I heard a rumor of him with a bunch of guys."

"Hyung, rumors are just people talking random shit they don't even know about when hating isn't working anymore." Jungkook says, swiveling his chair softly while looking at his hyung. "There's a difference between 'hearing' and 'knowing' somebody. Just because you 'heard' doesn't mean you absolutely 'know' about them."

"Well well," Baekhyun astonishing returns to his desk between him and Jungkook. "My baby Kookie is all grown up now. You look young but I'm surprised because you know this life like the back of your hand."

"Experiences that's all." Jungkook shrugs it off like it was nothing then his thoughts wander to the 'criminal' he's working with and realizes right after what he did the previous days. How he talked to him like Jimin was nothing, how he treated him like he was a prostitute, how harsh he assumed him for being 'a slut'. He sees himself as a hypocrite, saying this and doing that. He has no rights or privilege to do that to him, it might have abused him verbally and maybe that would be his first step in creating a barrier between them, preventing his relationship from prospering.

Maybe Jungkook was the dirty one in the first place...

"Hey, Jungkook?"

Jungkook snaps out of his thoughts after hearing Baekhyun's voice and a few snaps of his fingers in front of his face. He looks at his hyung questioningly. "Y-Yeah?"

"Chanyeollie greeted you, he came here a few minutes ago." He looks over to see a dark-haired male smiling gleefully at him, which he smiles back at him gladly. A hint of pink was on Chanyeol's face due to the playful nickname Baekhyun called him. "You zoned out for some minutes there Jungkook. Something bothering you lately?"

"Erm.. Nothing hyung." Jungkook looks down at his watch and seeing that it's nine a.m. "Gotta go now, have a great time hyungs."

After that, he rushes out of the shop, leaving his two hyung stares at him and each other questioningly.
