"What?" Jungkook's eyebrows knit together as he turns his gaze from Jimin to Lisa, a proud expression changes rapidly to unbelievability. "You have to go with us in order to perform enough information!"

"I know but wouldn't that be stressful for her to cope with?" Lisa explains as she looks over at Jungkook, the boy can be unprofessional at times since he sometimes forgets to regard the emotions of the people who are interrogated and that will effect the answers they get. "So I think it'll be safer if you leave it all to me."

"I wouldn't trust that.." Jungkook looks at both of the cops with a worried expression. What if Lisa gets away with it and telling Jisoo she shouldn't spill anything or lie in order to remain her chastity? She's a cop, however, Jungkook doesn't trust anybody enough to grand them a mission except his close ones on his floor. He hasn't seen Lisa complete a mission so if he lets her loose, the mission won't be as perfect as he thought in his head.

"Oh so now you're doubting me Kook?" Lisa rolls her eyes at Jungkook, embedding an arrow in his innermost soul. "All those years and now you completely don't trust me in this?"

"I didn't say that Liz," Jungkook tries to explain but clearly Lisa was reading his mind like it was the back of her hand. "I was just-"

"Jeon Jungkook, if you don't trust me, you won't lead us to nowhere!" Lisa exclaims, desperateness laced in her voice. "I know that you lost trust from your other colleagues from time to time and you had to do everything all by yourself. However you need to trust me on this!"

"Talk the talk but walk the walk miss Manoban." Jungkook says monotonously, the air thickens as the conversation keeps rolling, Jimin eyes trace on them while his mouth itch to say something. "You can't promise and then walk out the business like that."

"I-" Lisa comes to a dead-end, completely shut down by Jungkook because the boy doesn't trust her. After all many years and now her heart is broken by her friend and buddy. It's such a heart-wrenching sensation to feel and Lisa looks down, her gaze focuses on the soft carpeted floor that squishes through her toes. "As if I did that before..."

"Erm... guys?"

Jungkook and Lisa looks over at Jimin who looks visibly terrified, gazing at them with his dilated purple-tinted pupils as he slowly gulps, similar to a child whose parents are having a fight on what he doesn't know about. Jimin fumbles cutely on his tee and looks over at them timidly.

"I think Lisa has a point Kookie," Jimin says, feeling that he should trust Lisa on what she claimed since she has been working at the police station. At least Seokjin and Chief Yoongi didn't scold her all the time. "She didn't try to escape her work before, did she?"

"N-No, but-"

"No 'but's Jungkook." Jimin comes to a final. "Even if you hate me after this, I will still give Lisa a chance to help us something and that something is to at least give us an invitation to the new pub. I can't stand the fact you have colleagues but you have to do so much and I can sure Lisa will bring home that letter or else, newer information."

Jungkook is taken aback by Jimin - his new and most favored colleague. Never has he ever heard something ear-soothing and touching like what Jimin said to him seconds prior. Jimin's eyes look into his inner soul and Jungkook dives in those two glistening galaxies, never wanting to come back. His pride dies down and with a defeating sigh, he draws a breath and nods, agreeing Lisa will talk to Jisoo herself.

"See, that wasn't so bad, was it?" Jimin claps his small hands together and eye-smiles at Jungkook, making him look away while blushing cutely. "Okay, if we have something else that needs to be discussed later, have a call tomorrow. It's nearly one now and I think I would die for some sleep. Me and Jungkook have been going through a whole lot lately.

Jungkook looks at Lisa and stands up immediately after seeing Jimin and Lisa stands up smiling, an attempt to see off his new friend. The bunny cop rushes over and squishes himself between Jimin and Lisa, accidentally brushing over Jimin's arm. He smiles cheekily at them, looking down at Lisa and finally his small mochi Jimin. Throughout the whole journey from Jimin's room to the parking lot downstairs. They talk about what the possibilities of Lisa might have with Jisoo in the future, fluff or angst, bitter or sweet. For Jimin, he will go with both. Since love isn't beautiful as love itself and he's dead sure that the blondie is whipped for the bartender in all the most possible ways. Wind lightly nips at their skin as Jungkook feels Jimin standing closer to him, seeking himself some heat available to warm his body while Lisa laughs at him for not withstanding the cold that well.

Jimin blushes at the comment and scratches his nape, "Bye, Lisa. It's nice meeting you."

"You too cutie." Lisa winks before she turns her heels and saunters down the marbled staircase leading to the main street. Faint 'click-clack's echo through out the spacey and vacant sidewalk as a few cars pass by fast, whipping a gust of wind. Jimin looks over at Jungkook when he notices the younger is yawning loudly, one of his big hands lightly clasps over his opened mouth as a habit of politeness.

"What are you waiting for?" Jimin nudges the police man with raised eyebrows. "You have a home to come back, don't you?"

"Well, okay then, I'm leaving." Jungkook shrugs off and casually strolls down the steps, his eyes trace his boots trailing down the marbled steps. To Jimin, he suddenly feels a pang of discomfort. How does Jungkook leaving him like that can cause such an effect on his brain, his heart but not anyone else? Why does it have to be the cocky colleague he has to work with? A part of him wants to stay and spend the night as something they talked about the first time Jungkook came here but a part of Jimin wants him to leave and go to his home. With windswept hair and phoenix eyes, Jimin continues to stand there dumb-founded until he sees the too-familiar black slim figure collapses on his last step.

Jimin quickly rushes over to Jungkook's side and rounds his arm around his small waist, his chubby little hands take a hold of Jungkook's arm as it nearly chokes him, weighing him down because the bunny boy is such a muscular person. He widens his eyes as he regains his posture, not longer than three seconds later a car passes by and it'd be dangerous to both of them if Jimin hadn't straightened up to lift the passed-out cop upwards.

"Hey, bunny!" Jimin grits his teeth and breathes out, shifting his shoulders to wake Jungkook. He scared the crap out of him last minute and it's either lifting this heavy barbell upstairs or breathing sanitizer-scented hospital air while listening to the faint cries of families and friends, maybe his own too...

"Oi, carrots! Wake the fuck up or I'll throw you in the street." Jimin gently shakes as his voice laces a bit of uncertainty. His actions betray his words without doubt as he walks backwards, staying away from the roadway, still focused his eyes on Jungkook's closed eyelids and steady breathing.

"Jeon, c'mon." Jimin breathes out and he notices Jungkook doesn't move a muscle. Is he asleep?

"Jungkook?" Jimin's voice comes out inaudibly, somewhat resembles a whisper and he uses the hand that's around Jungkook's waist to gently tap on his face before concluding the officer is indeed, sleeping, as dead as a log, snoring softly. His lips part a bit as Jimin inhales Jungkook's scent. Something that smells like fresh mint and fine cigars interlaced.

And as Jimin didn't want to at first, Jimin still gives the goddamned(ly cute) Jungkook a piggyback to his room.
