"Dear mister Park Jimin,

The honor of you and your plus-one's presence is requested at our Masquerade Ball La Ravissement to be given at Cygne Noir on Sunday midnight, the tenth of August. Entrance won't be bestowed unless the invitation is presented."

The invitation is brief and is given in a succinct form of writing, which unknowingly sends chills run down Jimin's spine as he feels small beads of sweat form on his forehead. Hoseok mentioned about Cygne Noir before hand and he kept on warning Jimin about not giving any unnecessary attention to anyone or anything that relates to the bar - since the bar is notorious for having cold-blooded, inhumane murders and thrashers who wouldn't have the slightest sense of conscience once committed a sin. Moreover, Jimin learned by himself through experience that he should never fuck up anyone who goes to the bar due to the fact that one of the dancers at Hoseok's club nearly had his arm snapped off for refusing the customer at the bar to stay for longer.

"Well, I hope Jisoo won't trick us into anything fishy..." Jungkook lips firm into a thin line as he observes the crisp paper with care so as not to damage the precious invitation. "Anyone that's behind this..." He looks up as his eyes are met with Lisa's soft doe ones glistening full of hope and determination. Lisa, herself too, doubts Jisoo as her police instincts kick in although Jisoo claimed that a few of the people she knows are on the list of attendees and that was how she managed to get the invitation.

"It's due in three days and you guys should be prepared." Lisa finally says as her face turns serious. It's worth a try, even the slimmest chance to end the mummification should be considered. She looks at them for a reply when she sips a bit of her mocha after blowing the steam that arises from the surface.

"We will call back up when we need to but just for sure, you should have a few of them near the destination." Jungkook says, fumbling with his hands.

"You should have them parked in the alleyways," Jimin says, earning a glance from Jungkook. "Don't be too near because Hoseok said they would have other big guys go out and thrash it."

"If your friend says so, we won't." Jungkook says as he reminds Lisa to position the teams in their utmost ready positions as to grasp the chance of catching the culprit. Lisa looks at Jungkook with a questionable look as to why he trusted him with the positioning of the station, which Jungkook states nonchalantly that Hoseok is a friend of Jimin who knows much about bars and other related stuff.

"Therefore, if we happen to encounter other matters, we will contact immediately." Jungkook glazes his hands together as the corner of his lips playfully curve up into a smirk while eyeing Jimin, who's staring at him wide-eyed. "Now, we're going to have something else to do."

"We're really doing this?"

Jimin asks Jungkook as he shakily holds the black pistol in his hands, feeling the weight and smoothness while his skin brushes over the grip. The handgun is small and seemingly fits in Jimin's palm while he looks at Jungkook preparing a dummy for him to shoot, deciding that Jungkook didn't have the slightest intention to joke him into not knowing the basis of guns. The cop says that it's necessary to know how things work and just in case, they would need something other than martial arts and makeshift weapons for self-defense.

"I'll leave that for you to answer that yourself." Jimin rolls his eyes at Jungkook as he sees him encountering him closer after setting up the straw dummy sitting lonely on the pile of grass. Beside them is another handgun which Jungkook grabs at it and loaded the barrel with balls of paint which they use for practice, then he loads Jimin's and hands him earbuds as to not damage his and his worker's hearing. "We'll fortunately replace the earbuds into communicative ones while we're doing the mission."

"Okay, since this party is going to be loaded with weapon dealers and some mafia shit, I'm going to teach you how to use a gun." Jungkook says while handing Jimin his gun and Jimin holds it dearly, his fingertips grazing over the trigger as the muzzle comes face down the grass. "Number one, you shouldn't treat your gun as an unloaded weapon."

"What?" Jimin questions the first rule of gun safety as he looks at Jungkook and throws him a look, of course he knows it's loaded because he has seen it with his own eyes and if not, why would he hold it so dearly then? He sees Jungkook pointing at Jimin's fingers when it's grazing the trigger.

"See what you're doing?" Jungkook holds up the gun as he lets Jimin examine the right way to hold the gun. His finger is pressed firmly on what's in front of the trigger, which Jungkook calls it a 'trigger guard'. "Keep your fingers off the trigger when you're not firing, point the muzzle at what you intend to shoot and always treat the gun as if it was loaded."

Jimin obediently follows Jungkook's movements and directions while letting him instruct him. He looks at the bunny cop as he aims and fires an almost deafening bang which is muffled by the earbuds clogged in his ear. Within three shots and exactly hitting the bull's eye three times, paint splatters and wraps around the dummy's head as Jungkook releases the gun in an almost lazy posture. Of course, Jungkook is the station's ace after all.

"It's your first time holding a gun so it should leave a heavy impact on your arm as you fire." Jungkook standing behind Jimin speak, it's his turn to try and fire the dummy. "Keep practicing and you'll be familiar with it."

The first shot lands on the dummy's hand as Jimin flicks his tongue. He intends to aim for the chest, which is the center of the dummy but his arm shifts to the right due to the impact, resulting in the bullet piercing through the dummy's right palm and splashes a blot of paint covering it.

"Not too bad for the first try but keep your arms straight and aim closely as you fire." Jungkook says but this time, he decides to adjust Jimin's posture. With his chest pressing firmly against Jimin's back and his arms, caging the older male while seizing the grip with Jimin's chubby hands, feeling the shakiness and heaving breaths Jungkook caused him, Jimin's face is painted a crimson hue and he feels his ear heats up when Jungkook whispers reassuring words and reminding him to focus where he intends to shoot. The bullet escapes the muzzle as Jimin's eye continues to follow after, his heartbeat races as it hits his bull's eye - the dummy's chest.

"Like that." Jungkook releases his grip on Jimin while Jimin puts a hand on his chest, recalling the events happened before. The cop goes to the table and continues to load his pistol as if nothing happened, maybe it was something he always do to beginners at handguns like him. Jimin looks at him and sadly looks down as he adverts his attention the bull's eye he shot with Jungkook. He makes a fire at it again as he watches the bullet landing next to the bull's eye in a proud matter and he continues to shoot at it again, not noticing the fond look of Jungkook while eyeing him over the shoulder.

Little did Jimin know that Jungkook had never done what he did to the beginners before.
